Phil from LUX contacted me right away after I submitted my request through Home Advisor. He inspected our foundation where the crack had opened and informed us that it was not a structural issue, but one that could be repaired from the outside of the house. He gave a written estimate of the work after we discussed the details. We scheduled the work to be performed the following week and the team showed up as scheduled. The work consisted of digging down to the footer of the home and two feet on each side of the crack. This took two of the team almost 8 hours to complete. The crack was repaired with modern materials and techniques. (I researched this type of work prior to LUX starting the work.) The team lead (Alex) explained the work throughout the day as I checked their progress periodically. He seemed very knowledgeable about the process and was confident that the work could be completed on time and on budget. When the work was complete, LUX gave a lifetime (transferable) warranty on the work they did. I have worked with many contractors in the area and this was the first time a ever got a lifetime warranty like that. Phil and his team were a pleasure to work with and I would recommend them to anyone needing to have a foundation repair.
