Reviews
Write a ReviewExcellent work. Fast and respectful of large heavy item and property. They even helped to place the hot tub. Very cost effective. Would hire again!
We had the best moving experience ever. They were on time, professional and experienced. The staff they have is exceptional.

We hired them after looking at some other companies and we were not disappointed. The price was a little higher than other companies, but definitely worth it. Everyone was super professional and great at what they did. Great group of guys. Would recommend. 10/10
Derek and Chris are fantastic! Not only did they move furniture and place things where they needed to be; they were respectful, personable, mannerable , and a pleasure to be around. You can’t go wrong hiring Liberty Movers—they are the best!!!

Liberty Moves Orlando was by far the best service providers. The movers Derek and Micah went above and beyond to help my mom move seamlessly to her new apartment. I HIGHLY recommend Liberty Moves Orlando to anyone who needs a reliable, responsible, respectful and reasonable moving service. Thank you Deven and the staff at Liberty Moves Orlando! I would give you 10 stars!

The experience we had with your movers was absolutely wonderful! Derek and Micah were so very helpful, informative, polite and very conscious of Marina and her anxiety with her move. They were very helpful in calming her and facilitating the final billing transaction with the main office of the company. I would highly recommend them to others. Thank you again for your service and help. Have a wonderful holiday! God bless.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! We used this company for a local move. They broke several of our items, 2 of which they repaired. One item, due to its complexity, was unable to be repaired. When asked to replace this item, they refused and pointed to a document they hurriedly placed in front of me to initial after the truck was 1/2 loaded with our furniture. Apparently this portion states they will pay 60 cents per pound for any damage. Had i known this in advance, i would not have hired them. This valuation is very minimal. They should have insurance to cover replacement value of what they move and clearly break. They say they already paid more than the value in repairs to 2 other items and offer no reimbursement for the 3rd. They arrived after noon on a saturday, and while the movers were friendly, they worked well into the night and were clearly exhausted.
Mrs. [Member Name Removed] We are so sorry your furniture was damaged. As a small, local company, we truly care about our customers and their experiences with us. We go above and beyond to show you how important you are to us. Instead of you receiving a financial recovery of $135, based on the valuation of your items with Basic Value Protection. Liberty Moves paid $274.95 for your furniture to be repaired by a professional repairman. On the day of your move, you completed a Bill of Lading/Moving Contract and released your items to a value of $.60 per lb. per item. Instead of mentioning things to you about the contract or telling you how to proceed we hand the entire document to you for you to review. So, there can be no misunderstanding. If there were any questions you could have asked your crew leader or called our office at any time. The Bill of Lading states verbatim, in a section by itself, "Basic Value Protection. I release this shipment to value of 60 cents per pound per article. This lower level of protection is provided at no additional cost beyond the base rate. However, it provides only minimal protection that is considerably less than the average value of household goods." Regarding the item that cannot be repaired, you are requesting we pay over $800 for a dresser you released to a value of $90. That is almost 9x the coverage. We wish there was a policy available like you suggest, that covers replacement value, however, there is no such policy available. The Florida Dept. of Agriculture and Consumer Services is the governing agency for all household goods moving companies in the state of Florida. The DACS knows there is an inherent risk in moving household goods and sets policies to protect the shipper and the carrier. The DACS sets the $.60 per lb. rule that you critique. As a moving company we are the regulated, not the regulators. We wish you the best.
Work was done quickly and efficiently. Couldnâ t have asked for more.
Initially, everything was great. Working with Deven was fantastic. On the moving day, I received a call letting me know the guys were on their way. Upon arrival the one helper came to the apartment, checking things. He was quite chatty and wasting time, he was slow to get going...on my dime. Once all loaded up, a trip that should have been no longer than 1 hr 15 min took 1 hr 45 min. I questioned them on that and was told they could not drive any faster than 65 mph and there was heavy traffic and construction. I followed them about 45 min later and had absolutely no traffic or construction issues and that was during the lunch rush on the Turnpike. Unpacking went well until it came time to figure out the bill. The man in charge kept arguing with my husband about the final charges and it turned out he was trying to charge us for the round trip plus another one way, so three stretches instead of two and we also ended up having to pay for their half-hour lunch break. In the end, it was quite disappointing and unprofessional.
