Leininger Hardwood

We are extremely happy with Leininger Hardwood Floors. The house we found on Realtor.com listed our house with "Recently refinished hardwood floors!" I think they were done by Stevie Wonder flooring company. Talk about an amateur job! When my wife and I first walked into the house, the first thing we said was "floors need completely redone". I searched out 4 different flooring companies, and Leininger was by far the friendliest, and didn't make me feel like I was taking up their time. They were also the only company that didn't demand an up to 50% upfront fee just to get on their schedule, and also the only company able to get to us within 2 months. I realize everyone is busy, but they were still very accommodating. They showed up exactly when they said they would and did a fabulous job straightening out our floors (7 rooms). I just hope the previous owners didn't pay much at all for the poor job they received. It was pretty humorous when Patti first came in to check our house out, she was very professional even though you could tell she wanted to start laughing at what she saw. I know this is a long review, but Leininger was straight up with us, charged a reasonable price and did a great job. Obviously, we highly recommend them to refinish your hardwood flooring project.

The Leiningers did a fantastic job through the whole process - quoting, scheduling, refinishing, wrapping up. I have been working on a farmhouse with 110+ year old pine floors which had been covered with nasty carpet for at least 30 years. There were spots of pet urine through the carpet and other penetrating stains. The kitchen had four different layers of sheet/adhesive tile flooring which I did my best to remove (much of the paper backing on the first layer remained) and underneath all that the floor had previously been painted red. All this and the poor condtion of the cellar and crawl space and no A/C for years led to a lot of trapped humidity. The edges of the floorboards were curling a bit. I wish I could attach pictures of the beautifu results of their work. I am positively thrilled with the results. The floors are better than new because even though they are beautiful, vibrant and smooth, they still retain the character of this 110+ year old house and all it has seen. I highly recommend them.

Wonderfully done. They were quick about it, minus a delay on my end (make sure your heater is working before starting this so the finish can dry). They were patient when there was a delay, and then jumped in to finish the job as soon as the heat was working again. Also an excellent choice of color from Bill.

I got four quotes on my job and after Special consideration I selected Leininger Hardwood I email the comapny they started work on that Saturday AM. I would recommend this company!

I requested quotes for floor refinishing, and after having read the Reviews for Leininger Hardwood, I consulted my Son and Daughter-in-law~~and we hired them. I had moved to Beavercreek, Ohio December 9th, and stayed with my Family in Beavercreek, until my new Home would be ready to move into. At first, I was undecided as to having the refinishing done, due to the expense, and having been on Disability Income, since 1991, making it difficult to juggle increase in ongoing living expenses. However, my Son encouraged me to have the work done, and also wanted the bedroom floors refinished also. They had been carpeted, and 2 rooms showed wear. Unfortunately, the previous owners had pets, and there were multiple large black stains on the floors of the 3 bedrooms. At first, one workman thought that he could remove the stains with sanding. Patti called us to come and examine the floors, after sanding. The dark stains remained, and she strongly advised that we do not refinish those bedroom floors, and install wall to wall carpeting instead. I was grateful to Patti, and her Husband, Bill, for being honest, in not wanting to take our money for the Bedroom floors, when they felt that the result in finishing would not be satisfactory. We did a walk through after the initial sanding, and were shown 3 different finishes. I picked the 3rd clear coat finish, because we were told that it would be more durable. Three coats were to be applied, and when we finally were allowed to walk on the finished product, we were amazed to see how beautiful the floors were! The clear coats showed all the color changes in grain, and we were so happy with the Refinishing process. Bill and Patti, and their workers were very professional, and personable, in listening to our concerns, and making sure we were making the right decision. Bill and Patti’s team of guys did an outstanding job of refinishing steps and refinishing my floors. Bill worked with my on getting that right color that I was looking for. Would recommend them to anyone. I have already got another quote on more work because of the job they done on the first project. Highly recommend.

We found Leininger hardwood flooring through BBB and I am THRILLED. They got started a day after meeting to discuss details and had it done in ahout a week. Patti was honest and open and always quick to respond to questions or concerns I had. Their team is trustworthy and efficient. We had tile that needed ripped out that was underneath laminate that also needed taken out- they took all the old flooring with them, removed a railing for us too. I am so happy we went with their company. They are a kind, hardworking family and we hope to use them in the future to refinish our bedroom floors. We are so excited and happy with our new floors!

Made the floors look beautiful. I live out of town and they kept me up to date on progress throughout the project. Can't say that for all the contractors we worked with to remodel the house.
