Write a ReviewWe recently â completedâ a major remodel with Lotus. It has been the most stressful & painful experience. We were surprised by the unethical & unprofessional behavior. We were also disappointed by the lack of clarity in answering our billing questions especially regarding labor & project management hours billed. We chose Lotus because we liked & trusted Keegan & were sold on their specialty in custom cabinetry. That is exactly where our issues have come from. Our kitchen cabinets have cost close to double the original estimate. When we met to discuss & get some clarification, it felt like Keegan would just gas light us. It might have been palatable but for the absolute substandard finish on our now 6 figure cabinets. When we received our cabinet faces, there was an issue with the quality of paint finish & caulking. Lotus agreed & had another painter come in & try to fix. When that painter finished, there were 2 different finishes between the original paint & the fixed paint. We notified Lotus & they put our project on hold for a month. When they came back, they agreed there was an issue, & were going to replace some of the faces & have everything fixed. Before reinstalling, we went to look at them with Lotus & all agreed there were still many with issues & several that still needed to be replaced. After going back & forth with our attorneys, Lotus returned this summer with supposedly fixed cabinet faces. After reinstalling them, there were still many paint & caulking issues. They then had a different painter come in to attempt to fix. When they were finished there were still many issues that apparently couldnâ t be fixed. Now they are trying to charge us for the most recent warranty paint work. We have estimates of $24,000 to fix our cabinets â not including getting new faces for the many that arenâ t repairable. Lotus has ignored other warranty items & said they have sufficiently completed their job & will not be returning to our property. Now back to the attorneys.
