He was very efficient and skilled. He gave all a good price, and the finished product was perfect. He is very pleasant and makes angels without complaint. I would recommend him highly. He installed drywall in the entire basement walls and ceiling.

My project is new construction. Several, several problems arose from the start. First,they had trouble getting drywall delivered. Finally I had to call Home Depot on their behalf to get delivery. Then they were short drywall, so I personally ordered more. When the install was almost finished they informed me that they needed 70+ more sheets. We refused to order that many--and instead picked up 20 more sheets of which we had 2 left over. Finally, we had a dispute over the bill because I ended up purchasing most of the drywall. They tried to charge me for the drywall I purchased. The wife disputed even the receipts I produced. She made the finish person who was sanding quit before the sanding was finished properly, which I did not know because she spoke Spanish to him. I asked Luis if he finished everything to which he responded, yes. To make matters worse, it was a poor drywall job overall. Drywall not attached properly around doors and windows. As I painted I was appalled. nails popping through, cracks, and of course, unsanded areas. And every contractor I have had work on the house since has remarked on the poor drywall job especially the finish guy doing trim work.

Angiâ s List, why are you allowing uninsured companies on your site with false insurance information?? Before starting my job, I asked Luis if he was insured and he said yes. I requested to see a copy of his insurance and he first sent me just a picture of name on the insurance paper. I said I need to see the entire paper. He then sent me a picture of the page. While doing my job, his worker broke my window. Luis assured me he would take responsibility for the damages. So in good faith I paid him for his work since he was supposedly insured. I called the insurance company he provided only to find out he did not have insurance to cover damages and he gave me false insurance coverage information. When I questioned him, he said he gave me the wrong paper. I repeatedly asked for the proper insurance information and he would not provide it. He said he would take responsibility for the damages. I sent him the cost to reimburse me for the expense of the repair and he still has NOT paid me. It was an enormous hassle getting the window fixed and getting parts. Not only did he not pay me but his worker did a bad job and I had to call Luis back twice to fix the mistakes before my painter would agree to paint the drywall. So I will have to take legal action soon. Angiâ s List do a better job evaluating people you recommend on your site saying they are insured when they are not. I trusted your site and now I am stuck with this hassle of trying to get my money back from L & G Drywall!

I used this company last year for a kitchen remodel. Very professional job and great detail to quality. I will definitely use them again in the future.
