La Tortuga

I hired La Tortuga LLC (owner John Glenn) for a recent (Nov/Dec 2022) remodel project in which they installed all new interior doors, trim and baseboards for me. Iâ m really pleased with how it turned out, and the entire process was smooth. His employee Jonathan is an extremely talented and super nice guy, with an amazing work ethic and attention to detail. If you want quality work for a fair price, I highly recommend them. He also previously did 2 small projects for me in September 2022. One inside (install new baseboards I provided, after I had my hardwood floors refinished) and one outside (remove a rotten post under an eave & replace with a 6x6 post including installing a cement base). He was quick to respond & come look at the projects, explained his pricing, showed up on time & he and his employee Jonathan did quality work. In October 2022 I had another positive experience when he installed a small patio awning for me. Again, he and his employee Jonathan did a great job, completed the project promptly and charged a fair amount.

Used La Tortuga for multiple smaller projects throughout my home, including some smaller partial bath remodels and lots of "handyman" work. John the owner is friendly, flexible and accommodating with schedules and pricing. His worker Jonathan is also friendly and polite, a hard worker, on time, leaves his job site clean, listens well and aims to please. His work is meticulous and his experience lends itself to finding solutions to obstacles. I would not hesitate to call La Tortuga again in the future.
