At first I was unsure about hiring Krain Construction because of one review listed on this website that gave them 1/2 a star. But after reviewing the other comments, and talking to references, I decided to go with them as my contractors. I couldn't be happier with my decision. They were extremely professional, courteous, punctual and exceptionally clean. Not a speck of dust was left for me to clean up! I was very impressed. I've had contractors work for me before who left more of a mess when they left than the construction itself. I was very pleased with Krain Construction. Brian was upfront with all of the project details and there was nothing thrown at us last minute. I have to say that if you are thinking of hiring Krain Construction, you will not be disappointed. I'm not sure what happened with the one reviewer, but all the other reviews speak for themselves. Krain is an upstanding company and I will most definitely hire them again for an upcoming project.

Bryan and his team are quality workers. They don't take shortcuts and they take pride in their work. Top graded materials everything was correct and done right. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Building a home can be very stressful. Krain Construction did a great job with coordinating all of the work that needed to be done. Brian was very knowledgeable and helpful from start to finish. We are very satisfied with Krain Construction, I cannot recommend them enough.

Brian Krainbucher and the men who work for him at Krain Construction were the best contractors I've ever hired for my business. I own a photography studio and on several occasions have needed to build sets, walls, and moving walls on wheels. Our most recent work done by Krain Const. was to install several walls of drywall in a room with concrete walls. I was shocked at how efficient and high quailty of a job they did. In addition, I have found their pricing to be extremely competitive and affordable to me as a small business. Brian is a contractor that actually LISTENS to what I want and need, and develops a plan to fit my business. I will continue to use them for all work I need in the future.

On June 2015 we signed a contractor agreement with Krain Construction for a complete renovation of our house for nearly $200,000. Krain Construction began working on our house in October of 2015. Krain Construction packed up their tools, equipment, materials and abandoned the job during the first week of February 2016. The building code official who issued the building permit issued a stop work order on 03/31/16 due to numerous building code deficiencies found during inspection. The building code official sent us a two page letter of his findings and required action needed to move forward with the project. We now have to hire a registered design professional to evaluate the construction work and incorporate any further deficiencies found by them into the required action. Several dormers are out of square, the wrong windows were installed, the rough electric has never passed an inspection, the rough ductwork installed is crushed in a number of areas, the plumbing drains and water supply have not been pressurized, our bathtub and shower base were broken during installation, our sidewalk was broken, the subfloor installed needs fixed before hardwood can be installed, the porch footer was never inspected for frost depth and is exposed, existing drywall/plaster was damaged by water, and we paid thousands of dollars extra for changes in which a substantial part of the work was not performed. This is just a small list of items that are wrong with the house. We have been told items were not in the contract or they were taken out of the contract but they are in the contract when we look at it. Unfortunately we cannot post photographs on here or the pictures would tell a thousand words! Definitely would not recommend Krain Construction for any job, small or large!

Krain Construction and owner Brian K were absolutely the best contractor that I ever had the pleasure of hiring. Brian is very professional when dealing with the customer, his bid was by far the most reasonable among the other four bidders and the quality of their work was top notch. They also were very timely with their project and actually completed it within the scheduled timeframe. This is unheard of from a contractor. They cleaned up the area when done and the final product was exceptional. I'm so glad I discovered this local group and not only would I seek them out for any future projects By i would recommend them to any and everyone.
