Koala Insulation of Eastern Carolina is the area's certified insulation expert providing high-quality insulation services to homeowners, contractors and property owners. We work with new construction, retrofit applications, and properties affected by natural disasters or that have suffered significant damage. We provide all types of insulation including blown-in cellulose and fiberglass, spray foam, and batt-insulation. Furthermore, we provide a number of energy efficiency upgrades such as air sealing, thermal imaging, hatch and can light covers. If it involves insulating or improving energy efficiency within a building envelope, we can handle it. We offer competitive prices and free insulation evaluations. We are locally owned and operated, fully insured and licensed, and our services come with a limited lifetime warranty.

Install or Upgrade Blown-In Insulation

I can't recommend Koala Insulation enough for its outstanding service and expertise in blown-in insulation. From the very beginning, my experience was exceptional. The customer service (Tiffany) was incredibly helpful and informative. She answered all my questions patiently and thoroughly. When the Consultant came out he explained the different insulation options and recommending the best solution for my needs. Scheduling the appointment was a breeze, and they were flexible and accommodating. The technicians who arrived for the installation were professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain the entire process beforehand and answered any questions I had. The quality of their work was outstanding. They were meticulous and efficient, ensuring all areas were properly insulated. They also cleaned up thoroughly afterward, leaving no mess behind. Overall Experience: I'm extremely satisfied with the entire experience with Koala Insulation of Eastern Carolina

Koala of ENC - Spray Foam Insulation of New Construction 24x36 Metal Building. Gary was responsive, professional, on time, organized and reliable. The work was scheduled in advance, performed as scheduled and I am very happy with the work completed. Gary’s field guys were great. Very hardworking, knowledgeable and friendly crew. Photos provided are progress photos, mostly complete however not 100%. Highly recommend Gary, his crew and Koala.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
