Write a ReviewGreat work !!
I hired Talique and his crew to install a patio door. The initial install was fine and the team was courteous. However, about 3 months after the install, water began pouring into our house at the top of the door they installed. I reached out to him and they sent out the same guy who did the install the next day. All he did was apply caulk to the top of the door near the drip edge, without cleaning around the area first. He also acknowledged to me that he had forgotten to apply caulk at the top of the door during the initial installation. Two days after he came to apply caulk, we had another downpour which washed all of the caulk he applied away and water was again pouring into our house. I immediately reached out to Talique (on a Friday evening), but did not get a response back from him until Tuesday telling me they would try to get me on the schedule. I did not hear anything from him the rest of that week so I texted him the following Tuesday morning, no response. I called him that afternoon, and he told me he was no longer in Raleigh and was having trouble getting me on his schedule. It was not until I mentioned contacting Angi that I got more communication from him. His response was very defensive and said that I was not being patient (because water coming into your house every time it rains calls for patience?) and he said that I had not previously mentioned that the drip edge (where the leak was coming from) was not part of the door installation. My argument was that regardless of a drip edge being part of the install or not, a quality contractor would have inspected it, and certainly would have applied caulk as necessary upon initial installation, to make sure the door installation would be watertight and done properly. I understand that mistakes can happen, but the lack of communication and the lack of concern for water coming into our house is inexcusable. I also understand that I am not his only customer and that scheduling can be a challenge, but a water leak should take priority. I wanted to like these guys, especially as a veteran owned company, but don't want others to run into a similar situation.
Quick storm door install!
Excellent experience!
All promises were kept and customer service was great. Would definitely recommend.
He kept me informed on how work was progressing and exceeded my expectations on work that was completed.
I looked far and wide to find somebody to rehang my pocket door. It seemed as though no one did this type of work. I was about at my wits end. Finally I found Keystone for a Job well done at a VERY fair price... The polite young man, Taleek (forgive spelling), did an excellent job with no damage to the woodwork or wall which could easily have happened. I was more than pleased with the outcome! When a home structural repair or remodel comes your way I would highly recommend giving Keystone a shot at it!
Chris was very professional, courteous. answered all my questions, cleaned up after installation of my mailbox. I will definitely use them again.
A very fine, talented, and hardworking young man completed all tasks given in a timely manner. His work is excellent. I highly recommend Keystone.
