Work-Flow

Our project was a fairly large project. We have an ~800 sq ft deck that is off the first floor over a walk out basement. We had to replace the entire structure (joists and decking) and as part of this, a RainEscape water drainage system was incorporated into the deck so the underside was dry and finished off. Mike was very knowledgeable and meticulous on this project. He made sure that everything looked great and was done right, especially the drainage system. He even came back after 6 months to redo a few areas where decking boards had warped, All in all, I'm very pleased with the results and Mike's work. I would recommend him for projects big or small.

This was a positive experience in every way. The job was substantial: renovate an attic to add a dormer and build a bedroom, bathroom, and office space. Everything remained on schedule and all of the subs were on time and finished their work in a timely manner. If something needed to be adjusted, Mike and the subs would come back and keep at it until it was right. Mike worked tirelessly to keep the project going: his subcontractors were always professional, courteous, and skilled. The electrical work and plumbing were completed with minimal disruption to other parts of the house. He communicated with us every step of the way. Changes in materials or design were always handled professionally and usually saved us money. He would always recommend different vendors we could use in order to get windows, furniture, or fixtures. He cared that we had to live in the house while the work was being done so he worked hard to make sure that everything was cleaned up every day. He put plastic down in the hallway and stairs to make sure the carpet was not damaged. He swept out the work space and the garage at the end of each day. He followed up and made sure that his subcontractors were not leaving a mess. The quality of the work was exceptional: everything was always up to code and usually more than what was required. The space we ended up with is better insulated and more energy friendly because of his knowledge and care about how the space could be framed. When we wanted access doors to the crawl spaces behind the walls, he tried multiple door/lock configurations until he found one that was aesthetically pleasing, functional, and safe for our children. If there was a question, he was always prompt in replying. In short: if we ever have to do another renovation, I would only work with him. He is professional, fair, trustworthy, pleasant to be around, courteous, and really wants to provide a positive experience for his customers. He holds his subs to a very high standard because they represent him and he wants his customers to be happy with the final product.

Mike is very knowledgeable about every aspect of home construction and renovation. He made many great suggestions and is very precise when it comes to measurements and aligning fixtures. After the job is done he cleans up very nicely.

Mike is fabulous! Hired to install cabinet doors and lay a tile floor and he not only did an excellent job, but went above and beyond to fix errors from the company I hired previous to him. He also repaired my ceiling in two rooms. Great work ethic and honest.

He is very meticulous, cleans up after himself and he is amazingly concerned you are pleased with what he's doing for you. Hell will go out of his way to make you happy as his client.
