He came right on time. Polite and friendly. Even put on shoe covers to protect my floors.
Fine service. Nice guys.
showed up on time
He was efficient, reasonably priced and nice to work with. He did a great job.
On the phone We were told that it would be $70 to troubleshoot the problem and give an estimate, that this $70 could be used toward the repair. The repairman arrived, I explained the problem with our water softener, and he said he didn't know what was wrong with it by glancing at it (He didn't touch it) and to troubleshoot the problem it would cost $180, I said we were told $70 on the phone, he said :Thats just for the visual inspection" We were misinformed and feel like they were using a bait & switch on us. I told the guy to just leave !
We inform all customers of a destination/visual diagnostic fee. The referenced diagnostic cost was to cover our time to analyze an error code with proper equipment and technical support. We spoke with the customers and explained this, but they were steadfast in their opinion. Ultimately, due to the misunderstanding, we apologized, agreed to disagree, and left without any charge to the customer.
Very nice and I would hire them again.
$70 just gets them to the door and the so called diagnostic that was included was pretty much a confirmation that I did in fact have a water heater in my house; a full diagnostic was offered to me for $453 and any problems they found would be able to be taken care of for an hourly charge (after the $453)!!! Friendly enough over the phone but complete highway robbery, I finally convinced the tech to do a "cleaning" on my unit which temporarily solved the problem but was still $142...be very cautious..
$69.50 is to perform a visual diagnostic. We found a more involved diagnostic was needed. The $453 charge was to thoroughly clean the unit, test components and any minor repairs. The manufacturer recommends yearly maintenance to keep a warranty valid and for the best operation. The customer declined our diagnostic and agreed only to the maintenance. We don't charge by the hour.
Prompt in scheduling an appointment suited to my schedule. Very courteous throughout the project and Patrick who did the work was very sincere about doing a good job. I would say that John Baethke & Son Plumbing are a great example of the customer service anyone would be happy with. Patrick was straightforward with explaining what had to be done and why. I like the way they have a plumbing guide they show you what work has to be done with the pricing. Nothing is ambiguous when shown the pricing standards per work done. I will definitely use them again!
Timely response. Work properly done.
