Write a ReviewWhile the serviceman Anthony was very nice, this was unfortunately the worst quality maintenance service I've ever received. I told Anthony I needed my small TV mounted, a light curtain hung, 2 plant hooks, and 3 pictures on the wall. I am not exaggerating when I say every service Anthony provided, I had to redo myself. The plant hooks were sticking out far from the wall and were not stable enough, the curtain rod was completely loose and sticking out (with multiple incorrect holes around it), and the pictures on my wall were not measured and uneven on the wall. I am not a "handy" person, but I was able to temporarily fix these issues myself. While I am glad I was able to fix these issues, I am severely disappointed that these simple tasks were not done right the first time. The most egregious issue is the TV. Anthony lifted the TV/mount and we both heard a loud crack. He immediately said that my building movers must have broken my TV - but I do think we both knew that he broke it. When he lifted it up again, we noticed the back of the TV was completely snapped off the device. Anthony said that I had to buy a new TV as a result. I asked him if he could still put up the mount and I could attach the TV myself later. When he put up the mount, he said I had to "be careful" when moving the mount in any direction since it would be very loose on the wall. When I carefully moved the mount myself, it was completely loose and almost pulled off of the wall. It would never be able to hold any size television. Just today, I investigated the loose mount and noticed that there was never a bolt put in the top slot of the mount - so the mount was hanging on by 2/3 necessary bolts without my knowledge, which could've been a hazard. I just removed the mount off the wall myself and noticed that the spot where there should've been a bolt has a massive, deep hole that would not hold any long nail. The entire mount drilling has to be redone, not to mention me now buying a new TV. This all COST me over $350. Do not hire unless you want to redo all your work and throw your money out the window.
The Jeeves Handyman, Nicoles, was professional, courteous, and very patient. I am a DIYer of many years. I asked him if he would be bothered while I watched him do his work; I like to pick up repair tips from professionals. He said no problem and thereafter, he patiently addressed every question I asked on how he prepared for and finished his task. I learned much. I wish I could give Nicoles six stars on the evaluation.
Do not hire. Had a relatively straightforward project of building a bookcase and painting a wall. Charges were high, worker was not timely, and I now have to have painting redone. Company was not responsive to my complaints and were not willing to correct obvious error in painting.

The technician came out to mount our TV on the wall. He not only did not mount it evenly, but he also left the wires dangling. I told I didnt realize he was going to leave the wires showing. He told me he was told to just install the TV. I asked him to correct it and he stated he didnt have time because he had another job to go to. He should have made sure that I understood that he was only putting the TV up when he saw that there was no electrical or cable outlets on the wall where the TV was being installed. No one in their right mind would want their TV looking the way he left things, with cable and TV wires/cords dangling. Also, the TV isnt installed evenly on the wall. He even left drilled holes in the wall behind the TV that he didnt patch up because he misjudged where to drill the holes. I spoke with the rude lady who is supposed to be an office manager at Jeeves. She has no customer service skills at all and wanted me to pay more money to have someone to come to correct this awful job. You would think this company would take pride in doing a good job. I also sent an email to this company but got no response. I am writing this review so that people are warned to prevent them from having a job done like this. Do not sign or pay anything unless you are satisfied with the job done.

July 28, 2020 Jeeves Handyman Services worked on my porch ceiling to repair a leak. Work was completed for a **second time** and I still have a leak. The handyman told me (as contract states) work was guaranteed for a year and my call for additional services was within the year. Jeeves told me they guarantee their work **to a point**. I e-mailed Jeeves for an explanation as to what **to a point means** and got no answer. Handyman Jose S. did sloppy work and did not clean up after himself. I do not recommend this company ever. I still have a problem with my ceiling and Jeeves now wants me to pay another $500.00 dollars !!! For what?????

DO NOT HIRE! We hired Jeeves to install a new shower in our basement. When we bought the townhouse, it was advertised that the half bath was **roughed in** for a shower. We let Jose know that we did not know if this meant that there was just space for the shower, if there was a drain there or if it even worked. He said they would check it out once they started building. During the renovation my husband came down to check on the progress. He saw that the concrete was chiseled away around a pipe in the ground and verified that the progress on the pipe was going well and stated, **everything working good**?? To which they confirmed, **yes**. When the shower was finished we turned on the water and found that the drain actually did not drain any water at all. When we brought this to Jose attention he stated that since the drain had been used in the past that they are not responsible for checking to see if it worked. I notified him that no one has ever used the drain since this is a brand new shower that they installed (he did not even remember the project he had just done). When I reminded him that they were the ones that put in the shower he said that since it was roughed in he did not need to make sure that it worked since the original builder from 50+ years ago was the one  responsible for making sure it worked and he was not responsible for checking. He said that since we did not specifically ask him to make sure it works, that that was not his responsibility and all he needed to do was build a shower. He said that the homeowner must specify that they want a a working shower. Obviously my jaw dropped when he said this because I have never heard of somebody installing a shower for aesthetic purposes only. They also were supposed to reimburse for extra grout since they did the tiling wrong, and the company stopped replying to my emails. This company lacks transparency and accountability. Please do not make the same mistake I did.

HORRIBLE! UNRELIABLE! DO NOT USE! Scheduled accent wall painting today, 11 am. The owner said, give 2-hr window. Noon, I called 240 phone number, no answer... unlike the day before when he immediately picked up the phone. Call 1-800 number, a woman put me on hold for 3 minutes. I hung up and called right back. She attempted to call the driver, as I requested an ETA. She claimed the driver did not answer the phone. Then went into he has 2 hrs to arrive. It is now 1:41 PM. No painter, no phone call, no nothing. How UNPROFESSIONAL can you be!?

Very knowledgeable and helpful.
Excellent communication, fast service, excellent work.
These folks showed up on time for both the estimate and work, called to alert us the morning they were delayed, had the low bid, appear to have diagnosed the cause of our water-damaged siding correctly [time will tell of course], did clean and fast work, and were entirely pleasant and committed to our satisfaction. Jeeves will become our go-to for small household jobs.
