the technician came out and did damage instead of providing service. I reached out to the company and the owner was incredibly hostile and rude. I no longer trust the owner and would like them to just pay for the piece that was damaged.

Thank you for taking the time and effort to share your Experience. JDL HVAC Services prides itself on providing Knowledgeable, Professional, and Great Customer Services. You are claiming that our technician damaged the unit. Our professionally trained and certified technicians would have no reason to damage the system. The technician initially diagnosed the mini-split and pointed out the insufficient maintenance and improper installation. After the diagnosis, we stated that due to the improper installation of the system, we recommend system replacement. Once you received the assessment, it was the first time we heard of any damage to your unit the next day. We sent out the specialist. Who determined that the technician could not have done the damage. The specialist also informed you of the life span of the mini-split and that your system was at the end of its lifespan. You demanded that the part that was damaged be replaced. You told the Owner and the Technician that the system had been soldered/brazed. A mini-split system cannot be brazed/soldered/torched. Brazing, Soldering, or Torching the mini-split system will cause substantial problems. Some of these problems include leaks or improper performance. When the Owner let you know that the unit had been improperly installed, with the information you gave to him, you became angry. The Owner offered to replace only the part you accused of being damaged. You again were frustrated. Our investigation into the issue shows we have no involvement in the damage of the part. The part has no involvement with the reasoning for the mini-split not working correctly. JDL tried to find more than one resolution for the issue. JDL HVAC Services prides itself on its Customer Service, and we take pride and care in every job we do. Our professionally trained and certified technicians would have no reason to damage the system. We placed an urgent request on another website to which they responded to very quickly. Sales person came out to our home the same day. Gave us a quote right then and there before he left. The price was what we expected, and even a little bit less compared to other quotes that weâ ve had in the past. He insured us that the team would be able to come out in the morning to start the project and replace our HVAC systems. We paid our deposit and the next day the team showed up at around 8 AM. They were very pleasant and professional. They replaced both HVAC systems and removed our old systems in our attic basement. They also at the end of the day cleaned up the debris that was created from removal and installation. They walked us through the new systems and the thermostats and were done at around 530 that day, they were truly wonderful and helped us a great deal and we are grateful. would highly recommend 10 out of 10!
