INTREPID Construction LLC is a Veteran Owned and Operated company founded in 2023, which exists to provide the Greater Fayetteville/Fort Bragg, NC area with exemplary customer service, value, and craftsmanship; in general carpentry, remodeling, home maintenance, and repairs within the residential construction industry. As a Veteran Owned Business, it is our desire to promote and support local Veteran causes and to project an image which honors our nation’s military and ideals. INTREPID Construction LLC is a company which believes upholding a strong set of core values is essential to our success and for providing our customers with services which they can trust will be provided to the highest standard. As such, the values of Integrity, Quality, and Commitment shape who we are as a company.

I chose to work in this industry because I enjoy providing a service to the local community which improves the home owner's most important material asset. I have life-long experience and passion for the construction trades. I also bring a unique skillset in leadership and operations management as a U.S. Army Veteran..

Install or Replace Window Glass

The overall replacement of this window was exceptionally good. However the window is located directly above our bathtub and with him coming in and out my tub was left extremely dirty by him standing inside of the tub. He did not drape anything inside of the tub to make sure it was left clean. Nor did he attempt to remove the shoe marks himself. It took my wife a couple of days to remove all of the dirt and scuff marks from our tub. Why so long? Because comet and bleach did not work. She finally decided to use Spray9 along with comet and boiling hot water,allowing it to soak a few minutes scrubbed it and now it is clean again.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Verify Trade License HomeAdvisor checks to see if the business carries the appropriate state-level license. Verify Insurance As a part of our screening process, we encourage professionals to carry general liability insurance. We require coverage for hundreds of services. Verification of State Business Filings For business types that require a Secretary of State filing, we confirm that the business is in good standing in the state in which it is located. Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
