Nice man but he missed a lot when he originally came to give an estimate

Although I missed the unusual construction on the first inspection, I did inform him about it and that it would be difficult to do a complete job. I offered him the option of not going forward but he decided to go on.

Although James is very nice, I would not recommend him to anyone. It took him over 2 weeks to do a project that should take 1-2 days. He was hired to put up sheetrock and have the area ready for paint. He never finished the job. He left my walls very *choppy*. He never sanded down the walls after he put the spackle. He left my basement very dirty and did not clean up after himself even though he was really adamant about doing that after the job. He worked alone except for one time although he clearly needs help. He was always out of breath and could barely walk up the stairs.

On this particular review, I disappoint myself because I disappointed the homeowners. They are very nice people. Although I don't agree with everything they said, any unhappiness means I failed them. I called to discuss the rating with them and to help. After all, it was my fault. I want to own up to it. The length was longer because I was not always able to work because of there schedule, and I did not finish the cleanup to their standards. If I felt the rating was unfair I would say. But in this case - it was deserved.

They came when they were supposed to. He took his time and worked really hard. I would recommend him to anyone that needs the same type of work. We would definitely use him again for future work. His prices can't be beat.

Showed up on time and worked for 8 hours straight and the painter said he did a good job and the price was very fair. The painter said he will recommend James for his other jobs.
