I want to make a complain against this company Inland Landscape & Irrigation. The owner is Richard Durbin his number is 9516343912. On March 16, 2024 I hired them to do irrigation repair, he was on time and very professional. He quoted a repair cost $4,000. Worked was done with an assistance in less than 6 hours, I thought it was overly expensive but decided to have him do the work. He asked me to turn the water valve back on the next day to that area, I know the water was leaking from below the ground, I called him told him it was leaking, I turned water valve off and he said he could come to house in 3 days. Upon arrival, he saw the leak and said it was due to "VANDALISM" I was like what? he didn't want to be at fault for it and I said that there is no vandalism occurring here on the property. Mr. Durbin said he would be back in a couple days to fix it. He came on the door and he wanted more money for me for the repair. In his contract he says 30 day warranty on the job I'm not paying anything. He got mad and defensive, he said he will write it off and will never come out to the house again. I'm recently widowed and I believed he overly charged me to begin with. He started talking to me disrespectfully, and I said to him I don't think you would talk this way to my husband if his alive. I am angry that he blamed his workmanship on vandalism. I will never used him again or recommend him.
