South Bay Custom Paint and Finishes did a incredibly remarkable job in repainting a nine unit condominium building that was last painted more than 25 years ago. The building was in bad shape screaming for a long overdue new paint job. Ivan and his team took care of everything from power washing the building, prepped cracked stucco, sanded rain gutters, downspouts/flashing, and extremely rusted railings before priming, then painted everything with two coats. Ivan was always there on the jobsite staying on schedule and provided progress updates. Professional, approachable, promptly returning calls, and respectfully friendly. The team sweep clean the areas by the end of each work day including trash pick-up even when not created by them! Ivan also has resources for window cleaning service and welding for a handrail replacement. Pricing was very reasonable compared to four other bids. Key decision besides pricing was types of paints, paint brand, how many coats.

Ivan and his team did an absolutely amazing job refinishing my cherry wood kitchen cabinets after a housekeeper accidentally used Easy Off Oven Cleaner on them instead of Pledge (!). The cabinets were damaged 5 days before close of escrow on my condo so the job had to be done on a crazy tight timeline when every contractor in South Bay was overbooked. The other two quotes I got were higher and both other companies told me there was no way to match the few undamaged cabinets. But Ivan said he could match the color and he did. His bid was also VERY reasonable. He showed up on time every day, answered every text immediately, and finished the job on time. I highly recommend Ivan and his team! Hire them. You'll be glad you did.
