Very Professional Survey. I would hire them again
We appreciate your business Gregory! Thanks for leaving us a review.
Did a great job. Very thorough. Reasonable cost. Stayed within the estimate.
Thanks for your business, Cheryl! Happy to have another happy customer whose expectations were met.
very professional - definitely recommend them!
The bid was detailed and thorough.
We hired them to do a survey. It has been a horrible experience. It does not appear that they know how to so a survey. It has been 8 months and they did not do the survey but continue to send bills. We have already paid them 168% of their estimate and no survey, no status on when we will get the survey. Yet they are sending additional bills. Don't believe anything they say. They told us they were waiting on the county to review their input on the survey but the county has not had any contact with them in 6 months. The input that they had provided to the county had so many corrections if appeared that they had no idea on how to do the survey. The county responded promptly with what the need to get the survey done an there has been no follow-up with the county in 6 months.
Dear Tennie, First and foremost, Hogan Land Services would like to apologize regarding the level of customer service you have experienced. I apologize for the time this has taken and that you feel we did not take the time to update you or explain the project delays more. It was not our intent to upset you or have you feel like you were not being taken care of. I will not make excuses but hope you will accept my apology. We should have followed up our conversations with you with an email explaining the process and County procedures. Our most recent submittal to the County of Alameda was via FedEx on 9/20/2018 and we confirmed they received the document 9/25/2018 via FedEx Tracking #782869994377. We have been in e-mail communication with Michael Rubner, Alameda County Surveyor, this week, and he said he would track down the Map. We will follow-up every few days with him until this is resolved. I have attached a copy of the preliminary map that is currently at the County for Recordation. We originally emailed this to you on June 20th, 2018. As we have previously discussed, Hogan Land Services does not have control over how long the County of Alameda will take to review and record the map. However, once the map is recorded, we will be notified which will prompt us to mail you a copy of the recorded map. We will also email you a copy so you know the original is in the mail. The Survey has not been recorded by the County at this time and we are working with Michael Rubner as stated above to get this resolved for you asap. In regard to refund, we will refund you immediately $980 and will discount Invoice for $350.00 to $0. We will see your project across the finish line and update you the minute we have a recorded map with the County of Alameda. Although this was not our greatest example of customer service, we do pride ourselves on the level of customer service we provide. We will be implementing some corrections so future customers have a better experience. We do value you as a customer! Once the map has been recorded and we have notified you, please don't hesitate to follow up with us with any direct feedback you feel necessary in order for us to improve our customer service.
He was good.
This company tried to a Monument Recovery search. At first they said it would cost $200 or $300 hundred dollars just for this. They took a $550 dollar as a retainer. Went out with two people found nothing and requested $211 dollars more totaling $761.25. Which their work amounted to nothing but a big fat bill and nothing to support anything they did. Their service for a full survey is double that of other surveyors. I think they try to get as many people as they can on the job to make more money. Customer service was good - quality not so much.
Cynthia; We're so sorry we couldn't find your monuments (set in 1868) for which you provided written authorization of not to exceed $1,000 budget. Next time we'll try to be clearer about the potential challenges!
Best customer service. Larry knows his stuff and was extremely helpful in getting our certificate out quickly so we could close on our refil
Due to a large crack in my ceiling, I thought I might have a structural issue. Hogan Land Services was prompt in sending someone out to take a look at the issue. After a quick inspection of the attic and crawl space, they determined there were no structural issues. Therefore, there was no need for a structural engineer. Here we are a couple years later and doors are not lined up, the crack in the ceiling continues to get longer and wider, and more cracks in the ceiling and walls. Hogan Land Services was quick to reply to my concerns, giving more information on what could be causing the issues I'm experiencing and what route to take to alleviate the issues.
