Write a ReviewI am so happy with this experience with Hoekstra moving. The communication was excellent, they were on time, they were friendly, and so fast. The quote was spot on. Nothing was damaged. Talk about turning a stressful day into a best case scenario. Highly recommend.

We used Hoekstra moving in early August. I was quoted for 4 moves, but only had 3 on the day of the move. Moving out took way longer than expected. To make matters worse, I was charged 60% more than the quoted amount. I haven't been able to speak to anyone at Hoekstra about this because they won't return my calls. This feels like a bait-and-switch. I'd look elsewhere if I needed to hire a moving company. Moving is hard. You don't need them to make it any worse.

We also noted that you signed all the necessary agreements, including the premove agreement, revision of estimate, release of liability, and end of service agreement. We only charge for the time that is worked, and our agreements cover all of this. We genuinely value your feedback and want to resolve this matter amicably. However, since the service was completed over a month ago and considering the detailed agreements and communications we had, we're unable to offer a refund. Our team, including the movers who worked on your job, are experienced professionals who continue to be part of our team, as verified. Edit: Only after posting this review did Nate with Hoekstra return my call. He proceeded to blamed me for not calling him while the move was in progress. He also admitted that two of the three movers have since been fired, but offered nothing in the way of a remedy.

Excellent customer service from the first phone call! They were friendly, fast and very hard workers. Great pricing also. We had a last minute move and they made sure to accommodate us. I would 100% recommend!

CanĂ¢ t say enough about how much I appreciated what a positive experience they made my move. Moving can be stressful but they did everything possible to help ease it. They even helped me place some furniture and it looked great! Good guys, friendly, thoughtful, and respectful. Would definitely hire again.
