Jake is one of the best contractors, if not the best, that we experienced while building our home. He communicates like no other. You know when he will be there! Jake is patient and wants you to make sure the product you select is the right one! After spending a lot of time looking and bringing home samples, I selected real stone which is a very tedious job. Jake was great during the whole process and the work he performed is beautiful! One of the best decisions I’ve made was hiring Heron Stone Masonry!

I had an emergency during the build of a new home. I found Jake, the owner of Heron Stone Masonry, by looking at reviews of companies and work done. He had great review. He did an outstanding job! The rockwork on the fireplace will be a focal point for the new family room. Could not ask for better work or a better person to work with. Fast. On time. On budget. Planning more stone work for the house because of his excellent work.

I am not usually someone that will write a review of a company but I feel compelled to write one for Heron Stone Masonary. The stones fell off the chimney of our 1973 home. First off, it is really hard to get any company to return your phone call or email. Jake at Heron responded to my inquiry right away. We were so impressed with his knowledge, professionalism and friendly demeanor. After sending pictures of our house and chimney he sent a quote right away. Jake explained his work schedule and kept us up-to-date on the stone order. The work was done on schedule and completed exactly as promised. Jake does exceptional work! Our chimney now looks fantastic! We are so happy we found Heron Stone Masonry! I highly recommend Jake and his company if you need stone work of any kind!

Jake is the ultimate professional! Right from the very beginning he had written proposals and contracts, he communicated very well, he was always punctual and he followed through with all details of the project. Jake is very creative and with his experience, he solved my problem areas. I wish every contractor was as honest and professional as Jake. I highly recommend.

Jake was very easy to work with, prompt, kept a clean workspace, and did a great job on our stonework.

Jake is a true professional!! Great communication through out the project. Electronic contracts, so everything was spelled out clearly. He had creative solutions and cared about the quality of his workmanship.

Jake is knowledgeable, skilled, conscientious, and pleasant to work with. He and his apprentice did a beautiful job repointing an 80 year old brick retaining wall and an old brick planter, as well as laying new brick on a chimney. He had some good aesthetic as well as practical suggestions for some problem spots. And they also cleaned up the area!
