    The service was professional, but the installation job lacked attention to detail. We spent $3200 on this install of a new heater, and we ended up with a wet wall, a moldy closet and water damage to our dresser. He came to help dry it out, but no compensation was offered. Meanwhile, the heater is near our master bedroom so we had to endure the smell of mold for a week. What happened was Heritage did not use the existing drainage pipes, but installed new ones. The new pipe did not extend outside the house nor did it have a pipe going all the way down the house as the old pipe did. As a result the heater condensation drained INTO OUR WALL.

    As the homeowner mentioned, the service was professional. The installation only lacked one minor detail from my installers and that was one 90 degree elbow and a longer drain line. The homeowner called me and we responded within 20 minutes and scheduled at their convenience. We repaired the minor problem, repaired the drywall, helped dry the carpet and even brought a carpet cleaner with us, if needed. We would have done more if the homeowner asked, but they did not. We have always treated our customers the best we can and I personally don't feel this homeowner gave us a fair rating. Scroll down and read the rest of our ratings.

    They returned my call promptly, showed up within a few hours and re-charged my A/C at a reasonable cost. The technician also examined the overall condition of the system.

    Jim and his team were very professional and very pleasant to deal with. There was an insulation problem a few months after the AC installation which they repaired. All and all I would say they did a quality installation and performed the job quickly and cleanly.

    Our project was the partial replacement of our main air ducts. Jim was very professional and extremely timely in providing an estimate and responding to my questions. The installers arrived right on time, were extremely courteous and got the job done quickly.

    Did not completely survey the job site, did not crawl under house to examine joist layout, before quoting job. Started installation of new dryer vent under house, including cutting the screen on a crawl space vent, and installing the vent hood, only then to discover that a floor joist interfered with the desired location of floor penetration. Then had to abandon a dryer vent hood and after discussing the problem with me - went to plan B. The eventual installation of the vent was OK - not great. The method of attaching the 4" round sheet metal duct to inside walls included using strips of metal with sharp exposed edges. Lacked creativity and craftsmanship, or perhaps desire to do top end work even though I made it clear that money was not an issue. Jim and his team were communicative, showed up on time, businesslike, etc. I rated him fair instead of good because the joist issue was not discovered at the onset of the job. Also -the tech left the job site dirty - did not sweep up the dust and dirt brought up on his cloths from crawling under the house.

    We had a delayed ignition problem with our furnace. Heritage came at the scheduled time (in fact, the serviceman arrived 20 minutes earlier). He corrected the ignition problem and left the area clean and presentable. He was professional and thorough as he answered additional questions I had regarding the furnace.
