Reviews
Write a ReviewDrew was very professional and hardworking and great to work with.
Chris, out construction technician, was hard-working, informative and friendly. He takes great pride in doing a masterful job. Mike, the company owner, is responsive and sensitive to the needs of his customers. The job was challenging, but Mike and Chris took care of the intricate details involved and our remodel project looks GREAT!
Fantastic quality of work, but bid came in for half of the time it actually took and Mike did not communicate to us clearly that it was going to be double what he quoted us. They do great work but his hourly rate is high and his bids are much lower than you will actually get charged, so I would not recommend them to anyone unless you have unlimited budget.
TY for the kind words Patrick ! Just so our customers understand we do not bid work, our "Advantage Program" allows our customer to pay for just the time and the materials they use on their project. No contingencies or added CYA Fees. We are happy to visit and determine a budget with each customer prior to starting. On this project we started with installing collapse-able exterior doors, re framing the back wall of the home, and all the finishes needed, then your wife added the ship lap on the ceiling of the patio, removing four posts for the patio cover and installing another beam, then the big one.... pouring concrete, repairing cracks in the patio, leveling the patio and setting 36" plank tiles on the entire back patio ! Thank you for kind words, I remember at the time you told me you could not find a contractor capable of doing this work. For our Customer here is more information about the "Advantage Program" Yes we are proud to offer the BEST and MOST ECONOMICAL way to have your Repairs and Remodeling projects completed. With the Hercules Advantage Program we only ask to be paid for the Actual time and Actual materials used for your project! There are no contingency fees, commonly referred to as CYA costs. You see, when working in the remodel field there is no way to know what is in walls, or ceilings until they are opened up and the project started. All bid work arrangements build in a cost to cover minor items that they may not expected. The Unexpected items also open the door for extra charges by the contractor. The home owner has no other option but to get stuck by the contractor. With a our Time and Material arrangement you are in control and can modify the work scope at any time without worry about being over priced or gouging , This is the BEST and MOST ECONOMICAL way for a home owner to accomplish the work and is one HUGE reason for the success at Hercules. With over 30 years in business, Hercules is happy to be the TOP Pro on Thumbtack and many other Home repair referral sites. We complete over 200 projects per month! And Homeowners enjoy the HERCULES WARRANTY ON ALL WORK! WE A ARE LICENSED, BONDED AND INSURED PROFESSIONAL CONTRACTOR WITH OVER 30 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE SERVING 1000'S OF HAPPY CUSTOMERS
Uneven work quality, despite good. customer service.
Thank you for acknowledging our superior Customer service, you may have purchased the materials prior to visiting with us but I want to make a comment so our customers understand the importance of purchasing new quality materials from reputable sources. We pass through our builder discounts to the customer so you have take advantage of super prices with quality materials. When installing tile using factory seconds, or deeply discounted ceramic and stone tile we find the tiles are not square, and have uneven thickness, Another problem is cutting the tiles, they will leave small chips in the edges when cutting. The flaws can be seen after install and they are very hard to see when you are making your purchase. Just stay away from deals too good to be true.
best in show !!! honest kind, great company !!!

On time Efficient Very knowledgeable
They were prompt, communicative and friendly. I would definitely hire them again.
The person doing the work was very professional and did excellent work. Our only complaint was in the price. My wife was given of "ballpark price" of around $800, but the bill was $1250. After a discussion with Hercules it was adjusted to $973. This was without picking up the old material. An extra $150. would be added for pickup. Personally I believe that it should have been included. We have no complaints about the quality of the work, but would advise people who use this company to get a SOLID written quote before stating their project.
Very professional, great quality, but rates are high
