When a white limestone block separated from a front column of my house, I read the online reviews and decided to contact Haven Masonry Works. Steve Havens responded immediately and quoted a very fair price. In short order, he came to my home, mixed up a batch of carefully matched mortar, and set to work. The job was neatly completed in next to no time, proof that his many years of experience counts! Better still, Steve agreeably then took time to examine all the exterior walls of my 18-year-old house for any other problem areas. After assuring me that all was well, I was totally amazed when he actually billed me for LESS than his phone quote, saying the job went quicker than expected. Steve Havens is very knowledgeable about masonry work. In addition to completing some two-story tuck pointing work, he excavated some broken concrete at my garage entrance and replaced it with fresh concrete.

We had a few issues with material that was not his fault and it was quickly addressed. They did an excellent job and cleaned up afterwards which is a really nice touch. They had to tear down damaged limestone columns in front of house. they did beautiful rebuilding job....better than the old one. They went over and above, performed more tasks...worked fast and completed everything above expectation. His charge was below his estimate!!!!! I will use him for our house and all 6 rental properties.

The brick lining my driveway had been broken by me running over it so I hired Steve to repair it for me. Steve was very nice to my entire family and me. He was knowledgeable and willing to share alternatives to fixing the problem, including pros and cons to each option. He not only fixed the broken brick but secured the wall more tightly and filled some cracks without being asked. I thought he did a great job and I would recommend him to help with what you need.
