they were great
They did a great job of installing my water heater. Definitely would recommend them to others.
Service was amazing. 10/10 would recommend to anyone needing HVAC work.
We hired TAS Mechanical to install a water softening system, reverse osmosis system and tankless water heater. Don't get me wrong, Aaron started out as a really nice guy. He will tell you all the good work he is going to perform then give you a good price. Later he went up on the price significantly due to parts he said he needed to buy. We feel like he vastly overcharged for the parts. Make sure to ask for a receipt for the parts he says he will need to install your job. This is hindsight, of course. Also make sure to withhold full payment until you have received everything he says is going to do with your job. After he begins the work, he will start complaining about things that are preventing him from completing the job the way he outlined that he was going to do it. He told us he was going to install a dedicated electrical circuit breaker for only the tankless water heater and water softener system. He ended up sending an electrician friend to complete the electrical part and he did not install the separate circuit. In the end the junction box was left with wires exposed and hanging over head. When I called to tell him about the work his electrician friend did, the first thing out of his mouth, was that I knocked the box loose. This is certainly not true as it was that was never secured by both nails or hammered in when installed. He also lost our instruction manual for the tankless water heater. We had two leaks from our reverse osmosis system that could have flooded the house and water damage to ceiling below the water leak. He plumbed the wrong line to the drain and plumbed a corrosive condensing line from the tankless water heater which is draining acidic water right under the tank of the water softening system and staining the basement floor. He also installed a valve and charged extra for it. It serves no purpose in our tankless water heater system. When asked to remove the useless part, he wanted to charge me to remove it. Aaron is quick to blame you for anything that you bring to his attention and he will refuse to come back to repair his mistakes. He even accused me of rearranging the line, After informing him of the corrections that needed to be made, I received a text telling me he wasn't going return or touch the system . What happened to standing behind your work Aaron?
Arron was very responsive to my needs, he had the best price and went above and beyond in completing the job in a very timely manner.
