Shawn was unreliable and it became apparent early on that he really didn't know what he was doing. We hired him to build a covered roof over our deck, he claimed no problem he could make it look like we wanted and in the end he shot from the hip did what wanted and left us with an unsecured unsafe mess. His finishing work blew off in the first wind storm and we were forced to start all over with project. Beware of this man he is a good con artist and that's about it.

We were very pleased with the construction of our fence. Shawn was great and gave us advice on other projects we were considering. We DID purchase the steel poles for our fence. The additional cost of the poles, to the over all project was not but a drop in the bucket. We have water on two sides of our fence and have issues with poles rotting, leaning, etc. We are confident this new system will work. Very satisfied with this project !!

Very reliable and excellent group! They completed the project ahead of schedule. Shawn and his crew repaired our storm-damaged private dock. They also worked on re-wiring and adding dimmer switches to the dock lights which was unfinished and not properly installed by another contractor. Hampton Roads Construction did a great job. Shawn is very knowledgeable, maintained exceptional communication throughout the project, and he worked closely with his team who worked hard and kept the premises clean. The office team is very pleasant and courteous. Our neighbors observed the finished work and they also decided to hire Shawn to fix their dock and perform other home repair projects. We are very pleased and we will definitely use this group for future projects and we highly recommend them!

The whole process was so easy and excellent customer service. The timeframe was quick they communicated great I always knew what was going on. The work was done fast they were on time to my house. The fence looks great they even did extra work we needed for the fence at no extra charge. I will be using them again.

The work was completed 4 days later. Christina the office manager gets a shout out as well, kept me promptly informed of all project updates. Will definitely be using them again in the future.
