He is an excellent a/c repair man but his prices are beyond belief. I felt like he took advantage of me. It was Friday before Memorial Day weekend. I called in plenty early so he would not have the excuse of after hours fees. I wonder what he would have charged for an emergency after hour repair! By the time he got to my house around 7 pm it definitely would have been an after hours fee if I had called another company.

Prompt response after hours came home at 7:00 pm and A/C was not working. Greyguard arrived around 930 and A/C was fixed by 1000 pm.

Solid work ethic. Trustworthy and knowledgeable of American-made air conditioning systems. Went above and beyond to find us the right unit - we needed the whole package replaced: thermostat, air handler and 4 ton cooling unit. Jacob worked over the weekend (in the midst of his wifeâ s birthday celebration in Orlando) making calls to find parts and sending drivers to GA and Jax so we didnâ t roast in the Florida heat. Went the extra mile to add a UV light to kill bacteria. Gave special attention to us because weâ re retired (on a fixed income); my husband is an Army veteran. Arrived when he said heâ d be here; communicated every step of the way. Earned our trust. Our 17 year-old equipment was updated with a fabulous energy-efficient system! We will recommend GreyGuard to anyone.

My A/C system froze up. While searching for an A/C company to come out on Labor Day weekend I found Greyguard Heating & Cooling. They listed 24 hour service available. Jacob came out very shortly after I contacted them about repairing it and got my system cooling but made it very clear the 11 year old system needed to be replaced. I got a quote and requested it be a Rheem A/C system. They drove to Jacksonville to get the heat pump. Talk about customer service. I highly recommend Avon, Jacob and the whole Greyguard team for there professional, courteous and efficient replacement of my A/C system.
