The worst experience! We hired James for several repairs from flood damage. He walked off the job, taking $14,400 (75% of the cost of the project) and left us with an improperly installed roof---even he admitted it was incorrect---that now leaks into our master bath. He demanded another $5500 & when we refused until the roof was fixed, he stopped communicating with us. We are now left with small claims court.

James is a friendly and honest person to work with. I had good vibes right from the start. Very responsive to all of our calls and questions. Professional job, clean and employees were on time which is a huge pet peeve for me. Glad we gave them a chance and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking into this project.

Greetstreet (Home Energy Efficiency) is a small company with trustworthy employees who will do their best to do a good job for you if you hire their services. Greenstreet Home Energy Efficiency just completed a large project at my home, which involved installing a radiant barrier, 2 solar fans, duct sealing, some insulation, and some sub-flooring. I had a couple of small projects done by them before this one. The person who managed and/or performed all the work on my home was Carl. Carl is good at what he does and will do his best to do right by you. Carl did his best to address any concerns I had on the project and was happy to go over any topics associated with the project with me until I was satisfied. For instance, while performing the installation, Carl realized that the initial estimate for the amount of sub-flooring needed was insufficient, once I had gone through the pre-installation walk-through of the project with him. He scheduled another day with me to finish the sub-flooring at my convenience with no extra cost for time or materials. Also, when the insulation was being installed, a wire was compromised that was connected to our smoke/carbon monoxide detectors. Carl offered to get batteries for me so the alarms wouldnât beep until the connection could be restored, and setup an appointment for an electrician to address the issue at my earliest possible convenience, with no charge. The electrician was courteous and professional and took care of the problem with no issues. Many of their smaller packages include a home energy audit. This is similar to a sales pitch, in that part of the purpose of an energy audit is to determine what can be done to your home to make it more energy efficient. If your home is very energy efficient, they wonât have many recommendations. If itâs not, they may have a lot of them. James was my Home Energy Efficiency Auditor and heâs also good at what he does. Heâs familiar with the latest technologies in Home Energy Efficiency and will have a good idea of whatâs best for your home depending on what you want to spend, and what rebates/tax credits are available for you if you want to move forward. James didnât do any pressure selling with me. He told me what he thought would help me save money with my electric bill, and how much the recommended project would cost, and left it at that. If you donât feel like youâre ready to spend a bunch of money, just tell them that, and thatâs fine. The last deal I bought from them prior to having the radiant barrier installed was for $500 dollarsâ worth of insulation with an energy audit. At this point I was familiar with the company and their work and decided to go ahead with the radiant barrier, and they rolled my insulation package into that deal. But if Iâd only wanted to go with the $500 of insulation instead, they would have been fine with that. What was most important to me was that they were professional and courteo

From the first moment they entered my home they were kind, caring, and professional. The worked very well around my HECTIC traveling work schedule to get the work completed. They installed 25 windows in one day! They only had to return the day after to finish caulking the outside of the windows but all inside work was completed. Two windows did have to be reordered as they dimensions got flipped but they reordered and will install when next project starts. The crews they had working for them were very professional also and more importantly could communicate with me very well. They kept the inside and outside clean, making sure to tarp what they needed to. I would defiantly recommend these guys for all your home energy needs. Thank you James, Carl and all your crews for a top notch job!!!!

They installed blown in insulation, radiant barrier and an attic tent over stair access. That evening we notice a difference in the cooling of the upstairs bedrooms.

They spent time working with us getting a product that satisfied our desire to have a method of preventing neighbors seeing into our house.

We called and had them come to our home to discuss what they could help us with. We went with the radiant barrier, solar vents, blow insulation, an attic boot at the top of our ladder to keep heat from escaping the attic, and had Solar Screens! Not only did we put them on our home, but also on our Mother in Law suite! They look wonderful and block out a lot more that we thought! It is great having this done to our home! It looks amazing and feels cooler! Especially with the summer heat that we get in Southern Texas!! The crew that installed everything in the attic only took 4 hours! And the screen guy Carl, only took 1 hour to get all our windows covered!! We used to have about 3 inches of insulation! Now we have 18! The whole crew from Sales to Completion were great!!! We would recommend this to everyone!
