I got lucky finding Girard’s Home Improvement. The project was wall and ceiling repair. Ray arrived on time and had great patience with a pair of barking dogs. Damage was worse than it appeared, so Ray offered options and kept me informed. The work was professional with care given to matching ceiling texture. The job was completed within the estimated time and the area was left clean. I felt I could trust Ray from the moment I met him and was comfortable leaving him to finish the job while I left for work. I highly recommend Girard’s Home Improvement and plan to hire them again.

Efficient worked quickly great clean up. Nice work. Very knowledgeable about all aspects of home repair +cosmetics. Good teacher- willing to share ideas, methods and tips for simpler projects I might tackle myself. Highly recommend.

Does not coplete job as hired.

Ray repaired a lathe and plaster stairwell where the previous owners had used concrete to "patch" holes. He did excellent job of chiseling out the old concrete and repairing the stairwell. I had explained I would do the finish work (final sanding, priming and painting) to save money and he was very amenable to my proposal. He showed up on time with all materials needed. He did a nice job of cleaning up his work area. I will be using Ray for projects in the future. I would not hesitate to recommend him to my friends and family.

Ray Girard brings ALL the skills you hope to find in a contractor. He did a full remodel of our powder bath, our daughter's bath, and our laundry room. The results are beautiful and we could not be happier! He is professional, courteous, flexible, and resourceful. His quality and attention to detail are top-notch. His has very reasonable rates, and his work offers a tremendous value. Ray was simply a great person to work with. You want someone you can trust with your home (and pets) and is a pleasure to be around. Ray is that person. I cannot recommend Ray Girard highly enough!

Best experience I have ever had with a contractor. Ray is professional, hard-working, thoughtful, and detail-oriented. Did an incredible job painting, refinishing cabinets, and installing door hardware. Ray charges by the hour but came in well-below budget due to his productivity. Have already recommended him to several friends.

We hired Ray to convert our attic area into some storage space after meeting him to look at painting our basement. Ray's work is very good and he is such a lovely man to have around the house. Our son really enjoyed helping Ray with the odd job and we are really pleased with the final result. Ray also fixed a couple of other things around the house for us too. We are working on stage 2 of our works - the basement and a tree house and will be hiring Ray again. We cannot recommend him highly enough.
