Bryner came to our house to give us the estimate for the demolition of our fireplace. He reviewed our setup in detail, using a ladder to climb to the attic crawl space to look at the structure. He gave a rough estimate because it wasn't clear how built out the fireplace was behind the wall. Our fireplace is somewhat non-standard since it cut diagonally across a corner, which is one of the reason we're taking it out (to gain more space). His estimate was the most competitive. When the team came to carry out the work, they were extremely careful to layout protective layers on the floor (even though we were taking it out anyway). They were committed to treating as if it were flooring that needed to remain. They worked both directions (from the chimney down and taking out the front veneer below). In particular, was so impressed with the work on the roof. The worker was taking it brick by brick, which a chisel and hammer to remove each brick. He laid it down on a protected sheet on the roof carefully. He moved it carefully to the edge and deposited into the dump truck bed. On the inside, the other work removed a really large mantle with the utmost care. The last part required a lot of work, excavating down to the lower crawlspace and removing the concrete base using a combination of a jackhammer and cutting tool.

I would give 6 stars if I could. The Giant Hauling and Demolition team are that good. I asked them to demolish a free standing garage that was two feet from a large oak that we wanted to preserve, and they did it all by hand without a heavy Bobcat rolling around and compacting the tree roots. Then they extricated some old electrical and gas pipes from between the tree roots again without disturbing the tree, which I wouldn't have thought was possible. Once they had completed the job, they offered to help me get soil and mulch to fill back in the area where the foundation had been, and again they did a beautiful job. I don't usually think of demolition crew and landscapers in the same sentence, but this team can handle both. In addition the crew was so kind and courteous and always willing to make small adjustments. I would work with them again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic service by Bryner and his team. They arrived early in the morning, demo-ed my entire kitchen, removed my pile of pressure treated wood, and cleaned everything up. Strongly recommend for any of your demo work.

I'm very grateful I found Giant Hauling via Yelp. I dealt directly with the owner, Bryner. He not only provided me with a demolition service, he also helped walk me through options for a city permit, connected with me general contractors, and garage door service providers. He engaged me with friendliness, support, and understanding. I met with other demolition service providers, and in the end, his rate was fair and, most importantly, I trusted him. As a new homeowner, all of this helped relieve some of my stress around the renovation process. He definitely had my back. On the day of the demo, his team (led by Will) was on time, friendly, professional, and extremely hardworking. I highly recommend Giant Hauling to anyone in the Bay Area!

If I could give this company 10 stars I would! I was in need of some demolition work for my newly purchased home and we were looking to renovate 3 bathrooms and a kitchen. I came across Giant Hauling and Demolition through the Angie app. Immediately after contacting them I was able to speak with the owner of the company (Bryner) who responded within minutes. He was knowledgeable, professional, and very friendly! I had specifically asked them to protect my flooring during the demolition process and not only did him and his team maintain the flooring but they left everything clean and spotless afterwards. Iâ m very happy I found Bryner and his team and I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area!
