Highly concerned with customer satisfaction; answers and returns all phone calls. We will be having him back for concrete work ( front steps and patio install) this fall
These guys are good. Professional, always on time, and fast. I’d recommend them to anyone, especially if you’re looking for a trustworthy company to hire. My new patio is perfect. Price was a bit high, but you get what you pay for. And in todays economy, what isn’t expensive. Most important, they worked with my budget the best they could. Gerry and his team are the real deal.
We had a patio installed by another masonry company one year ago. They did not use the proper amount of base material and it sank 3 inches . Gerry and his crew pulled out all the pavers dug down 12 inches and added proper amount of base material, reinstalled all pavers and built us a beautiful pool deck . They were professional and responsive for a reasonable price . I would recommend them for any masonry project
Oliger Mucka of Gerry Masonry charged me $4,500 to stop water from going into my basement. After two attempts to solve the problem, the basement still got wet after a rainfall. When I informed Gerry that the problem persisted, he got agitated, defensive, and argumentative, blaming everyone (including me) and everything (including gutters and drainpipes) rather than accepting responsibility for his mistakes. Gerry tried to bully me into doing substantial, additional work (at my expense) that he felt would stop the leaking; all of which would be unnecessary had he appropriately performed the work he was paid to do. Soon after, Gerry told me to stop calling him. I then filed a complaint against him with the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection. After Consumer Protection investigators discussed the problem with him, he agreed to refund the total cost of the project, $4,500. He did in fact refund the money via certified check to me. To protect yourself if you are considering hiring Gerry Masonry, be sure to have a written contract that specifies the scope of work for the entire project. If you do not get what you paid for, or Gerry otherwise fails to complete tasks specified in the contract, you might want to consider contacting Consumer Protection for help resolving the issue(s).
William Conger is the worst ever customer I work. In biggest look good guy, He so Gerry Masonry LLC working at his Sister House she is my neighbor, he asks her to give me my number she refused to give it because she knows what going to happen. He finds the information and contact me through email. For the expensive price, everybody knows the prices now. The way he accepts the price in bigness we do not obligate him to do the work. We go back and fix what he complained but he has 2 different foundations and we did waterproof what he told us now he says you guys did damage to my old foundation, but I refund him because not a contract.
Very accommodating, arrived on time, completed the job quickly. Arrived with the wrong color pavers and immediately contacted the supplier, returned the same day with the correct ones. Did a beautiful job on my patio and walkways.
We had planned to get the drive way paved, stone veneer on the foundation and granite on the front porch. While the project was ongoing we added stone veneer on the walls of the front porch/entrance area and pillars left and right next to the drive way. Thanks to Gerry for these great ideas. He and his team are just awesome. They were always on time, took care of everything, cleaned up and most important provided excellent work. Our home looks so much better now. Whenever I have another masonry project, I know who I will hire. Thanks again for the great job. Sandy & Heinz
If you are considering any type of masonry project I would strongly recommend Gerry’s Masonry above anyone else in the CT market. My wife and I cannot say enough positive things about Gerry and all his crew starting with 1st Class Workmanship, Professionalism, to Dependable and Trustworthy. His prices were competitive & fair and Gerry and his crew took great pride in their work. They created a mini resort in our backyard complete with a beautiful new patio with a custom inlay pattern, granite steps, 16 ft seat with pillars, retaining wall, fire pit and walkway. It exceeded all of our expectations. Gerry’s Masonry is the way to go!
Gerry was very easy to work with. Didnâ t pressure and came out the same day to check out the yard and provide an estimate. Great experience done in 3 days and looks beautiful. He even took the time to call and check how it was going and will come to double check everything. Highly recommend.
Very professional and prompt. Refinished our stoop and replaced the walkway. Excellent job. Highly recommend! Wish I could upload a picture so you can see the end result
