Some serious stucco repair and full house exterior paint. With a paint job, prep is extremely important and they did great prep work. End result, like a new house! Mario and crew were a pleasure to work with. I rated value at 4.5 only because after meeting and discussing project with Mario, we made our purchase decision without other bids. Our house was painted over 20 years ago. While the stucco is still in tact, the facia was showing age and wear. We heard from a friend that Genuine Coatings was in the area painting houses. Thought weâ d get a quote to address facia deterioration. During consultation Mario Alleano, owner of Genuine Coatings (GC), suggested we (two friends and I) take a look at a couple houses his crew recently painted in the area. He actually arranged for us to tour one property and talk with the homeowner who praised the quality of workmanship clearly visible and professionalism of GC staff (always on time; courteous and friendly; left the job site clutter-free; met the projected date of completion). We each requested a quote for full house repair and paint. After vetting three other painting companies we determined GC reasonably priced and able to work with our individual schedules. My two friends arranged to immediately start work on their houses. My job was scheduled to begin a month later so I had the luxury of watching their work in progress. Friend#1 chose a completely different updated color palate, while Friend#2 chose to refresh her existing house and trim colors. Both jobs required different construction/deconstruction requirements and came in on time. Impeccable workmanship. While we waited for our start date to arrive Mario texted to check on color choice, confirm start date, and address lingering questions. Our job required ladders to be placed over the neighborâ s fence. Neighbors report the workmen were always â friendly and courteous.â Final outcome â ¦ stunning rejuvenation. Comments from family and friends: â love the contrasting colors,â â painting is very neat,â â beautiful job.â When weâ re ready to paint inside the house weâ ll definitely call Mario and his Genuine Coatings crew.

They were extremely easy to work with and did an extremely thorough job. The required prep work on our turn-of-the-century bungalow was extensive, including replacing and repairing difficult-to-find and difficult-to-repair siding. They did it meticulously. I made a change in paint color part way through, and Mario rolled with it (of course, I did pay for the change, which is only fair!). They were always respectful (in fact, they replaced our porch chairs each day, once they realized we used them at night!). I have since noticed a few small things to fix, but I am confident that they will return to do the touch ups. Also, I had gotten 5 other bids for this job, so I am confident that Genuine Coatings was an excellent value for the quality and quantity of the work they did. I strongly recommend!

Mario Arellano and his workers did an excellent job painting my home. First off, Genuine Coatings was the only service that had their California contractors license and insurance papers available for me to see at the time of giving me an estimate. That set them apart right away. We had let the house go way too long between paint jobs and the exterior was in very poor condition. The prep work was outstanding and thorough. Extensive stucco repair was required before any paint could be applied. Then two coats of primer were applied and two coats of color. They did it in the middle of winter weather, no less, showing up faithfully between rain storms. All of the workers came on time and performed every task as required--and I am a perfectionist. Mario went above and beyond when he replaced some worn screens in my security door, so it would look great after it was painted. When the job was finished, the clean up was superb. I highly recommend this business to you.

Genuine Coatings, Inc. is a very comprehensive exterior house painter. On the job daily from 8:45am ~ 4p. Very polite hard working team family and friends. Much attention to detail and doing extra small painting details. Comfortable with this team every day walking around our home daily for a month and a week. They were very gracious and always asked if we liked their work. And we told them it is great. We reviewed their work by a walk around and I even got on a ladder to closely inspect the work. Mario is the owner and is very young owner and his foreman William and team members : Julio, expertise highly skilled carpenter, beautiful craftsmanship of fascia replacement and wood window frame detail repairs, Rodrigo, Kevin, Timmy and Gaspar were all so hard working.

The crew did a great job and were great about fixing any small tweaks I saw. They were cautious of the property and stayed well organized. I have a tile roof so I knew some tiles would be broken. The guys were upfront about the broken tiles and fixed each one at the end of the job.

Excellent service; great crew. The team did all the touch ups requested with no hesitation.

Mario and his team are absolutely fantastic. Not only did they provide top-level professional service and delivered a first-rate product (backyard hardwood deck stain) but went above and beyond the scope of work with small and personal details. Our backyard deck was stained to beautiful perfection. Mario and his team are knowledgeable, courteous, and punctual. Our deck looks better than it ever has, and we could not be more thrilled.
