Last year we replaced our hundred year old garage. The work was done by Garage For You. We were and are still very pleased with the experience. We live in Oak Park in an historical district. So there were a number of requirements above and beyond what I would imagine is involved in replacing a garage in most locations. The permit process with the village was quite lengthy. Garage For You waited and was ready to proceed with demolition and construction when the village permits came through. They told us when each phase of the process would be done and they stuck to it. They demolished the old garage; laid the foundation for the new garage; and finished construction on schedule. There were a few unique features that they were able to accommodate. I had saved and refurbished five original windows from the old garage. And I also duplicated the original trim. They incorporated both of these items into the design for the new garage and installed them. And, in order to match the house, we had another company apply a stucco finish to the garage. Garage For You workers prepared the walls as the stucco company requested. The stucco company said that the preparation was excellent. The electrical and final inspections were flawless. We are very pleased with the quality of the work, the flexibility of the design process and the overall responsiveness and availability of the workers and office staff.

Garage For You was great to work with from start to finish. We had a very odd remodel project where we wanted to change the side of the garage that the door was on. They were very flexible in their design to ensure they reused as many materials as possible to keep the cost down, and was also very helpful during a long permit process. We feel great about the quality of work and the value we got, and would highly recommend working with them!
