Gallenberger Construction

Our second home was flooded and extensively damaged. Walls, flooring , ceilings , bathrooms all ruined. We live in Alaska and found Gallenberger through this website. I can t say enough good things about Gallenberger construction and James Gallenberger. From the start James was personable and easy to deal with. His work was done on time within budget and in a highly professional manner. The subcontractors he referred were also professional and closely managed by James. Our home is beautiful again ! I highly recommend Gallenberger construction.

James and his team were friendly, experienced, prompt, dependable, and provided outstanding service from start to finish. James took the time to listen carefully to how we wanted our old and weather-damaged deck repaired, then he and his team promptly got to work and made it not only good as new, but better than it was before. In fact, he made several improvements (with our okay) that we hadn't even thought of, and did so at minimal extra cost. Those improvements showed just how creative and experienced James is when it comes to quality carpentry. In every way, he went above and beyond the call of duty and I'm already recommending him to anyone I know who might need repairs or other work done on their homes.

I can't say enough good about this company. James & his Crew built/restored our large front deck. They showed up on time & on budget despite encountering a few unforseen structural problems once the decking boards were removed from the previous deck. From start to finish their knowledge & skilled professionalism resulted in a beautiful new deck we love & continue to get compliments on.

James Gallenberger has been a straight shooter from day one, he is easy to talk to, and will set you at ease with his construction experience (he actually has worked construction, not just a guy who got a license, passed a background check and has insurance). I had a very strange project that involved renovation of an existing 1930's building (turn a commercial 1930's building into multi unit residence, very complicated, per code and permitting). He has helped figure out the overall planning (especially framing) and is very transparent with cost vs. gain when it comes to the project, I would definitely recommend him and plan on using him again for future projects.

James was very professional, gave a fair quote and went above and beyond to make me happy building a beautiful large deck in my backyard. I appreciated his hard work and attention to detail. He and his crew worked very hard and I loved the results! I have already recommended him to a friend.
