I initially went through Angis list. The estimated price from Angis was $390. I found FlgaragedoorPros on Angis. When Fl garagedoorpros came to the house, the cost was $715. The opener was a basic Genie model with an exterior pad. At Lowes a similar model was $220 with $180 installation charge. The benefit over Lowes was the rail is continuous. I negotiated the price to $600. The gentleman that did the work was knowledgeable and did a good job. I just felt used. Kind of a bait and switch. I was in the midst of planning a funeral so I just needed it done.
