Reviews
Write a ReviewVery professional company
The tile was laid in a wood look pattern. Very nice with smaller grout lines. Exactly what I asked for. The crew was polite and professional. Great follow through.
C and D services did an excellent job with my concrete floors. They were in time, affordable and so easy to work with. The job turned out beyond my expectations
Very professional and did a great job.
The experience started off great. Project estimated 3-5 days. The floors look amazing. Would I hire them again? No. And, here is why. The project started Wed 12/1 (I received a text week prior wanting to start the next day but was unable to) they took the existing flooring out. 12/2 they sanded down the floor and evened it out. 12/3 floors being laid down. On 12/6 I find out that we ran out of vinyl flooring for this project. 12/7 terrazzo was supposed to be laid. 12/8 Terrazzo laid. Appliances are not moved back until 2 days later. It was a very small kitchen. When they did move it back they didn't bother to mop it. On Thursday 12/9 I have asked to speak to upper mgmt. Which on Friday 12/10 was LeRoy (owner) Of course he apologized. Much appreciated but this will mark 9 days of possible work and the project was scheduled for 3-5 days. My place is chaos as I live and maneuver my way around. On this day I am told at 930am the wood vinyl is in and will be laid and the job complete. At 1230 that same day I went home to find no one working to complete my condo. They were on another project. I called LeRoy and informed him that I was upset and that they had until 5 pm to finish the project due to HOA rules and they were not able to work on the weekends. ( at this point I had 9-10 ft of vinyl to be laid down along with baseboards and transition pieces) (also, I informed them they should have laid the baseboards when they ran out of wood so the project could be finished quicker but the installer did not want to do it. which I understood and did not force the issue. It is just not how I would have taken care of the situation.) Nonetheless, I arrived at 6 pm and the project was not done. I informed LeRoy they had to leave. I was upset and looked to hire someone to finish the job that they could not do. Sadly, to find someone to do a small job like that was quite challenging so when LeRoy called Monday I agreed to have FCI complete the work. Everything was done minus a vent that needed to be placed but the contractor put a baseboard over the hole and did not want to come back and asked me to find a vent to fit the covering. There were other workers in a different unit at my complex so I just gave them a few bucks to cut the baseboard. Literally took 5 min. All said and done they were eager to collect the money. I was surprised they did not knock some of the prices but at this point, it is not really a surprise. We are all in customer service and how you handle a situation speaks volumes. In this situation, the work performed by the contractors was very good. The company on the other hand, not so much. I would not hire IFC. You can find hard-working guys with great skills to lay flooring that does not charge such a premium for mediocre customer service. To recap, this project that was supposed to take 3-5 days took 13 days (11 actual working days) And, a lot of apologies. In addition, when my last request was to do the baseboard so the vent would fit, the response should have been, absolutely. But, instead, they replied if you can take that vent back and exchange it for a smaller size it would look better sitting on top of the baseboard I am exhausted with this company and happy to have my place back. I just have to run and mop it up and take all the tape down that was left behind. If you are looking for a flooring company know that I spoke to the salesman, Shane then dealt with Delilah who overlooked the 6 subcontractors, Rico, and crew and ended up dealing with the owner of the company, LeRoy only to complete the experience with Delilah. That is a lot of hands.
Fabulous!
Thorough, kind and communicative. They are committed to doing the job right.
Shane was fantastic. He took time to find the flooring styles that met my durability and style requests He was really patient while I went thru the samples more than once before making a decision. Like everything, the delivery was delayed by covid, but I'm looking forward to having my floors installed soon.
Friendly professionalism. Attention to detail. Excellent listening and response.
