I want to give a huge Shout Out to Fix it Services, specifically to Westin, Taylor, Kevin and the dispatch team for coming to our rescue. The modes older home I bought for my son and his mentally handicapped granddaughter in February developed a leak around the meter. On a Friday evening, the Gatesville water department came out and determined that it was not their issue because water was running through the meter and they turned off the water to the home, leaving my son and his mentally challenged granddaughter without water. I called around trying to find a plumber, and they were the only plumbing agency that returned my call: and did so within hours. They came out and quickly analyzed the situation, which was the 52 year old PVC waterline going from the meter to the house was the source of the leak. They gave me three choices and quotes for the respective repairs. I chose to replace the entire waterline due to it being 52 years old and I and I did not want another leak to fix as the line degraded. They quoted yesterday that they would be able to get to it in approximately a week. I explained that I had my son in a hotel, as he needed water to care for my granddaughters special needs. They then went above and beyond, surprised me and showed up today and replaced the line, and even did a few extra things above and beyond the contract scope. What an amazing team! We worked with Zack Matthews for an internal leaky pipe fix. We called at 8am after finding water in our closet, and he arrived same day at 10:30am and identified and fixed the issue quickly. While he was there, he also helped to fix a different issue on a bathroom sink, even though it wasn’t part of the original ask. Thanks Matthew!!
