Five Star replaced our roof several years back and we just had them back to do our windows. We are very happy with both the price and quality of service. Thanks to Jason for helping us out with both projects.

Five Star did a great job from my sales rep Jason, Louis with the instal and keeping the yard neat and clean. And James for working around my work schedule. Would recommend to my friends and family for sure!

Outstanding job from start to finish by Rochester Windows & Doors. First, Lou, the sales rep, helped me to find the right design, allowing for more light, keeping out the cold in winter, and even qualifying as a capital improvement for my NYS income tax return. Next, I met with James, the project manager, to review the concepts, criteria and expectations for my window order. I appreciated his expertise, based on years of doing window and fixture replacements, and answering all of my concerns. As planned, Nick and Junior, the istallation team, arrived and went right to work. Through rain and shine, they worked and completed the job within two days. (Nick even cleared out the gutter above the windows to eliminate a nettlesome backflow issue.) The craftmanship of these two quiet professionals resulted in two beautifully installed windows. Sunlight now pours into our family room, and the room itself is so much brighter! Many thanks to this local company -- a true asset to our community.

I had a few questions and decided to give 5 star improvements a call. I spoke to Melina and she was SO helpful and kind. Highly recommend using this company for any of your home improvement needs.

Had my gutters replaced by Five Star after moving into a new home. Their work was careful and neatly done. The materials they used look well-made to me. Communication about scheduling could have been better, but overall it was a great experience, and I would hire them again.

In the end, I think I have the quality roof I was expecting but it was so PAINFUL to get there! So many cut corners and sloppy work throughout that I had to go over the work inch by inch and itemized a list of problems they needed to fix before I would sign off. And then each of those items took multiple tries to fix properly. I really felt like I was project managing for the (entirely too long) duration to completion. In fact, a few items I will be fixing myself in the Spring, since I simply got tired of having to deal with them. I had them drop off some extra caulking and paint and I'll be up on the roof to get the outstanding small things done properly. Eric (project manager) is absolutely terrible at proactive communication, so I had to constantly ask "when, who, what" at every turn and question if what I asked for was truly done. The insulation guys I hired and had to coordinate with were frustrated as well with his lack of communication, especially after they had 2 guys waiting for several hours at my house to start the job only to find out that Eric decided to postpone due to weather. On the plus side, my sales guy, Samer, was fantastic and very much enjoyed working with him when I had the chance to do so. But that said, he misquoted my job "not realizing" that I had a tear off roof and THE EVENING BEORE the job start informed me that it will be an additional $3000-3500! I also had to get the owner involved at several points, but despite my multiple requests to have Eric removed from my job, he kept being reassigned, to my displeasure. I would not recommend this company for a quality roof done right the FIRST time. Definitely not 5 Stars for roofing projects!
