Install or Replace a Shower

We had listened to two other sales pitches from other companies prior and we never felt comfortable. Elizabeth from Five Star was very thorough and answered all of our questions with great understanding and care. Our installer, Jarell, was very courteous and performed the bathtub demo and shower install within a day. The craftsmanship was high quality and he cleaned everything up well. He walked me through and answered my questions. This whole process was very professional and they definitely earned their name!

Five Start Bath solution was excellent form the initial contract signing through the finished remodel everything went as expected. The crew was very professional and made sure we were happy with everything before the completed the remodel. The glass enclosure company was very professional and we could not be any happier with the final look of our remodel. Eli kept us in the loop and the project progress and we are very happy with the complete project.

Install or Replace a Shower

The contractor failed both inspections and abandoned the job. Through dozens of emails and investigation it is clear that it is a not reputable business company who obtained our business through misrepresentation concealment and lies. If you are looking for poor installation, unvetted contractors and contract without completion date then you hit spot. Unprofessionalism, pathological lying and excuses is what you'll get from owner Bhavik Shethia and Steven Lindley. Their feed back is so bad they cannot even have a social accounts..

After careful review and getting plenty of estimates from companies, I’ve decided to go with Five Star Bath Solutions of Orlando after seeing in person my neighbors bathroom installed. It came out beautiful. The Installer Jarell was very honest & professional with his work.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Verify Trade License HomeAdvisor checks to see if the business carries the appropriate state-level license. Verify Insurance As a part of our screening process, we encourage professionals to carry general liability insurance. We require coverage for hundreds of services. Verification of State Business Filings For business types that require a Secretary of State filing, we confirm that the business is in good standing in the state in which it is located. Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
