Reviews
Write a ReviewI highly recommend this Plumber. Tommy is pleasant, professional, honest, fair, reasonably priced and most of all, he provided quality work. He arrived promptly as scheduled and completed all the work in one day. Due to the recent unusual amount of rain; for the first time in 14 years, my crawl space took on over 14" of sub-surface water. I didn't even have a sump pump because I never needed one before. Tommy came out a few days before the major work was to begin and dug a temporary sump pump pit to get the water out. A few days later he came back and dug a 3-foot sump pump pit and installed it, removed and replaced my old vapor barrier, installed two new water heaters, a new dehumidifier, and a new pressure tank. It's been a week now and I've been checking my crawlspace regularly. Although it's continued to rain everything has remained dry. Best of all he warranted his work for 2 years. I would definitely use him for any of my plumbing needs in the future.
Quick response. Job well done. Will use them again.
great service
Tommy (& his Dad) were right on time, and they were very knowledgeable and thorough in their work. I will definitely use their services for all my jobs in future and would highly recommend them for all plumbing needs.
I used Home Advisor to find a plumber when my water pressure got drastically low. I decided to use First Choice Plumbing and Remodeling. Tommy came out took a look at some things and suggested a bad water valve and some other items might be to blame. I also had issues with pipes banging around and my hot water heater was due to be replaced. We'd decided the best bet would be to replace all the internal plumbing. I left my house for two days while the plumbing was getting replaced. They left the door to my garage open, lights on, and the AC on 68. I then received a call the plumbing was replaced but there was still no water pressure. I was then told it might be sediment in the fixtures or a leak in the main line to the house. I called the county and they confirmed it was the mainline to the house leaking and I had two weeks to fix it. I guess it wasn't common sense to an experienced plumber to check the water pressure coming into the house before replacing all the plumbing. I then hired another plumber to redo the waterline and they fixed the pressure issue in two hours. Once the pressure was fixed it became noticeable First Choice Plumbing had reversed majority of the hot and cold lines on everything. I called them back and they fixed a couple of them and then just switched the connections on the washer hoping I wouldn't notice. They also used my dish towels to clean up their work ruining one and another disappeared. They also used my house vacuum to suck up dry wall. I also noticed the pressure valve leaking and it turned out for $4k Tommy had just reused the old one and has come back out three times to no avail. My bathroom is also leaking because Tommy didn't replace all of that but left some PEX behind. When I mentioned the leak they came back again this time breaking my shoe rack, shoving it back hoping I wouldn't notice and then again did not fix the leak. Upon further inspection to fix the moving pipes they just shoved left over plumbing trash in my wall at an attempt to brace the pipe and prevent noise. I mentioned all of this to Tommy and he just said ok he could come out again. I'm not sure why I had to pay Tommy $4k for a problem he couldn't diagnose. Only to pay another plumber $4k to fix the actual mainline and now I have to deal with Tommy to attempt to make my internal plumbing whole again. I paid $4k for a total internal redo and he not only reused old faulty parts but didn't even replace all the plumbing and created more issues by doing a slack job. I've never experienced such incompetence in my life and I'm not sure where all these glowing reviews for him come from.
Quick and efficient, I will use him for future jobs.
Tommy (& his Dad) were super nice, super efficient, and did a fantastic job replacing my old water heater. They installed the new water heater quickly & all seems to be working well. Very satisfied with the job! The price was the best, too!! He also helped with another small plumbing issue while he was there. Great guy!! Highly recommend!
Very reasonable price. Knows the work and the county regulations.
They gave an estimate, came out and did the work at our home, did the work and did a good job. They did 4 small jobs and did great.
Put the word out on this website and got a few bids out. Tommy was the most responsive and by far had the best price. We quickly arranged the work through phone conversations. Him and his team were prompt, courteous, and swift. No large windows of times he could show up. He said a time and came at that time and made quick work out of the job. I will absolutely be hiring him again for other jobs around my home.
