This is our second time using Avi and his Finesse team to beautify our house. One of our bathrooms was in disrepair and badly needed a facelift from its early 90â s look. At the same time, we decided to paint a large family-style room and our office. Also, we put in new ceiling lighting. How did it come out? Fabulous! We knew it would since we had Avi guiding us and his very professional and competent team doing the work. What we especially like about Avi is that he does what he says he will. The price is reasonable. You are getting a quality job. Avi will assist you with ideas if you arenâ t so sure about yours. He has an excellent eye and really pays attention to details. In addition, Avi, and his entire team, are cordial and easy to work with. Your time is respected. Each evening or early morning, Aviâ s right-hand woman, the very organized Joyce, will give you a heads-up about who is coming and what time he will be there. If there is a delay in the contractorâ s arrival time you will be notified promptly. We especially appreciated that. If you have a question or something you want Avi to look at, Avi will be there to take a look and make sure that it is what you want. Each and every contractor, whether it was a plumber, electrician, tile-man, or painter, was a professional. We had absolute confidence in the job each performed. I want to give a special shout-out to Luis and his team who did such a beautiful job. Call Avi, you will be happy you did.

What started as a major water issue with no idea the source turned into a rebuilt primary bathroom up to code and free from leaks

After finally deciding to remodel our decades old kitchen, we began our search for an honest, reputable kitchen remodeling company. After meeting with two other contractors we were referred by a good friend who highly recommended Finesse Remodeling and Consulting Inc. Even with our first meeting with Avi Ben Dov he explained each and every step and a projected cost and timeline. Joyce his assistant was amazing and very professional. She was always available whenever we had a question. The scheduling of each tradesman was spot on, they all arrived on time, were professional, respectful and always cleaned up at the end of the day. Avi always came to check on the job and at the beginning of the next phase. We had some unforeseen issues (old wiring and plumbing that needed upgrading) but Avi made sure we agreed with the cost before proceeding. We are very happy with our new kitchen so we decided to have additional work done throughout the house. We highly recommend Avi, Joyce and everyone at Finesse Remodeling! My wife and I were very blessed to have Avi, Joyce and the whole Finesse TEAM by our side when we decided to remodel almost our entire house which included 2 bathrooms, kitchen, exterior stucco/woodwork renovation, painting, door installations, and touch-up work (very extensive work). From planning, execution, surprises/challenges, budget and timeline management; Avi and Joyce were very supportive and fair throughout the process and took the time to explain things and delivered quality work every step of the way. Scheduling was flexible, communication effective, and if there was a disconnect, Avi was there to make sure we were aligned so the project proceeded with minimal delays. More importantly, me and my wife ASK LOTS OF QUESTIONS and Avi and Joyce were always there to listen patiently and address the concerns in a positive and productive manner. When it comes to challenges and surprises, Avi took the time to explain the situation and presented flexible options so that the outcome was fair and satisfied our expectations. Aside from those soft skills, Luis and TEAM provided quality workmanship and suggestions that totally beautified our newly renovated spaces and were left with place we can now call "our HOME" not just a house. Avi's approach is always customer first and was very professional but personable and supportive. Joyce was also very instrumental in support whenever we had questions or needed scheduling adjustments. She would work with us to accommodate requests and questions we had if we needed help/support. Ours was an extensive condo renovation including a totally new kitchen, powder room, master bath and lighting. Never having tried anything like this we did not know where to begin. Enter Avi and his Finesse Remodeling team. From that first meeting on day one our fears were laid to rest and we gained the confidence to proceed on such a big project. We enjoyed clear communication and everything happened according to the schedule. From Joyce in the office, to the plumbing and electric crews, to Luis and his amazing tile setters, the process was a fun and enjoyable collaboration. We had two bathrooms desperately in need of rennovation, and met with several contractors. We have had several pieces of building work done on our property in the past and are generally wary of contractors. We immediately felt that Avi was someone we could work with. He was very thorough in both understanding our intentions, and laying out the order of events and schedule. Because these bathrooms were old construction (mid-80's or earlier) Avi strongly recommended lead abatement inspection - which actually found only a small amount of tile with lead in it, but was a worthwhile health and safety check. We had very clear ideas about the retro design of the bathrooms, which Avi expressed some doubts about at first. He quickly came to understand that we had a clear vision, and then got on board enthusiastically with what we wanted to do. He became an excellent partner in bringing the design look to fruition. Demolition was very swift, and Avi's guys did a good job of sealing off the worksite to minimize dust spreading to other parts of the house. We wanted to move a couple of toilets and remove an old tub to replace it with a low-threshhold shower, and all of the replumbing and rewiring moved ahead very smoothly. Finesse did a terrific job of arranging the inspections so that we weren't waiting for days between parts of the project proceeding. The really impressive part of the work was the tiling. Avi's gang, headed up by the incomparable Luis, did a stellar job with an enormous amount of subway tiling. This did end up being a cost overrun, but absolutely worth it. The care and precision of Luis and his team was breathtaking. The plumbing and shower glass were subcontractors that Avi co-ordinated with, and we had some problems with the level of finish that the plumbing team made when installing the faucets and showers - however as soon as we expressed our disappointnent, Avi was on top of it and making sure that all of our notes were attended to, and all the errors were corrected. The second team sent by the plumbers made an immaculate job of refinishing the installation, and the end result is wonderful. Throughout, Joyce in the Finesse office stayed on top of the schedule, and always texted us the upcoming events. It was always easy to get hold of Joyce and Avi - we never got that contractor run-around from them - and they were meticulously honest about itemizing overages and payments. We never experienced and 'nasty surprises' in billing, and Avi was at pains to prepare us for possible costs (for instance, the possibility that the lead tile removal might prove to be extensive.) Overall we cannot say enough good things about these guys. We always felt that our project was the most important thing to them, even though they had other jobs running at the same time. We never had communication problems, or difficulties in getting hold of Avi. If anything, he was attentive to a fault - calling up just to check that the shower installation was satisfactory immediately after the work was completed (it was perfect.) Finesse were not the cheapest company we got estimates from - but neither were they the most expensive. Inevitably, costs were higher than the original plan, but these were always as a result of our change orders. I would use Finesse again for any remodel work, and heartily recommend them to anyone and everyone. They were simply a joy to work with.

Working with Avi and his team was such a pleasure, and we are thrilled with the end result. Our kitchen is beautiful. Every part of the process was effective and efficient. Avi worked with us on various layouts and design options, and provided plenty of recommendations. Every professional who came into our home did excellent work and was respectful of our space. And above all else, Avi did what he said he'd do, showed up when he said he would, and answered our many, many questions kindly and patiently. If you've ever worked with a contractor before, you know how unbelievably valuable those traits are. We will 100% be calling him for our next project, whenever that is!

Avi and Joyce always went above and beyond to help us in any way they could on regards to our kitchen remodel. He made everything simple and always kept our budget in mind. We asked him to make quite a few changes from the original plan and even asked for help with other small projects around the house and Avi & Joyce always accommodated in any way that they could. I am very happy with the way that our kitchen turned out. All of the work was done carefully and precisely and they made sure to protect the areas of the house that were not being worked on as well. They are a very reliable and honest team and I would highly recommend them for any projects you have in mind.

Avi and his team remodeled our first home with my wife and we were both very happy with the final results. We remodeled our kitchen, flooring, and powder room all within our budget thanks to Avi and his willingness to make a deal. I went through a lot of contractors and Avi stood out because not only was he very respectful, but was keen on details. He would share his honest opinion and suggest alternatives that were much better in quality and price. At the end of the day, he really wants the customer to feel good and confident in the project. Now there were some bumps in the road during the project, but that was because of a different company not living up to the quality of work that Avi's team does and there was a few delays on shipment which caused deadline to be extended, but we were informed along the way so there was no surprises. Overall, if you are looking to not go way over your small or medium budget and looking for professional work on remodeling your home I would recommend just calling Avi. His opinion and vision of your new project could save you a lot of money and save you on making bad decisions. If you don't pick him, that's fine, just chatting with him is highly valved and don't cost you a dime.
