We hired FC&T's for full interior painting and re-finishing wood floors in our mountain home located in Alma, CO. Malcom and his team were great to work with. We were very pleased with the results and would definitely work with them again on future projects.

Malcom is such a genuinely good person. He answers the phone himself, shows up when he says he's going to and does what he says he's going to do. And his work is great.

Thorough and timely

Malcom was very professional, always showed up on time. Provided invoice with complete breakdown he help us save money on our project. Overall we would recommend him for future projects, Our kitchen remodel turned out prefect.

Laminate flooring was to be installed on the top floor of our home to replace carpet that had water damage. The common areas ,minus the kitchen, plus two bedrooms were to have flooring installed. Malcom quoted an installation price of 2753.00 and had me order 1340 sq. ft. of flooring. The lumber company added in 10 percent for waste and the total order came to 1490 sq. ft. When it came time to install, Malcom claimed that 2753 only covered the common areas and the cost to do the two bedrooms would increase the install price to about $3300. He was calculating on the fly saying, "1500 square feet at 2.25 per square foot..." Long story short, when they finished the common areas, they had laid less than 750 square feet of flooring for $2753, brining the price per square foot for installation close to $3.75 per square foot! I pointed this out to Malcom and told him the only way he could even get close to his supposed $2.25 per sq. ft. installation price is if the two bedrooms were done, which is what we had originally agreed on. He said nothing and took the money anyway, overcharging me for installation by $1000 as less than 750 sq. ft. at $2.25 per is about $1700. So much for the "honesty and integrity" they value. I will never use FC&T's again for any project nor do I recommend them because of this. It's a shame because their work was actually pretty good. If you do decide to hire them, know EXACTLY how much work you are getting done for the price quoted and get it all in writing.

Very courteous service

Malcom did an excellent job installing 7 interior doors and an entry door with the help of another person. The guys showed up at the time they said they would, were able to tear out old doors, install new, and clean up all in one day. The cost of the job was low and the quality very high. I will definitely hire them for any carpentry work I need done.

They did a good job of fixing an odd septic tank problem that required some originality in thought and execution.
