Reviews
Write a ReviewExcellent work and best service... perfect solution for roof treatment..
Erie did a fantastic job putting a new metal roof on my home. Showed up on time, worked diligently to complete in 2 days. They missed trim in an inconspicuous area, but they came right back out to complete. Immaculate clean up. My only issue was that it was difficult to get a warranty in writing. I appreciate southern hospitality and the verbal promise to back their work, but this is the 21st century and professionalism warrants signed contracts to put the client at ease and give them proof of warranty should something happen and the owner dies but the company doesn't. I shouldn't have had to push for that, which he eventually provided Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars! Great job!
They did an excellent job and my roof looks great. They worked the whole time they were here and it only took 2 1/2 days to complete. Have already recommended to others.
Expensive but did the job in one day. Easy to work with Guaranteed for life
Very professional. Crew showed up on time. Finished the job in a day.
How NOT to conduct business: Our long and winding journey with ERIE..... We initially engaged Erie roofing in Oct 2021. The salesman was very good at selling the product to us. He promised us an excellent product, & workmanship. The first rule of business is to underpromise and overdeliver. In my opinion, Erie practices the opposite. Our new roof went on at the end of November 2021. A snowstorm occurred later that day. I asked the foreman to stop the work. Unsafe for the workers, I thought, and since it was getting dark, visibility was difficult. The foreman refused. One result was that the amount of debris left in my garden was unacceptable, but of course, it was snowing and dark when they completed, so not easy to see anything. On inspecting the roof the next day, my husband found numerous obvious shoddy work. For example vents & aerial roofed over, nails popped, rough edges & generally a haphazard appearance. We contacted the company who sent their installation manager to inspect the damage He agreed that the roof needed to be deconstructed and a new one replaced. For almost 1 year Erie delayed fixing their botched job. My husband was in contact with them regularly asking when ??? The silence was the LOUD reply. We paid cash upfront for this work; a deposit then the balance on the day of completion. They insisted on payment before they left the property. I thought this an unfair request considering inspecting the work at the time was impossible. Finally, a truck dropped materials on our front lawn 3 MONTHS ago, (August - September time), and then on Tuesday 8th the workers arrived. A second lot of roofers were very good, efficient, tidy, and organized. It was almost like a completely different company working on our roof. I cannot fault the final job on our roof and I am just so relieved that the nightmare is finally over for us. Would I recommend Erie ??? I think I will leave it to the readers to decide.
They took on an extremely difficult roofing job and finished it in two days. Besst workers I have ever seen, swarmed over my roof like acrobats and worked like machines
The crew that installed the rope was fantastic they did it in 2 days and it's beautiful. But the salesman and the office manager manager left a lot to be desired
The roof looks great, and the work was finished in less than one day as promised. The work crew cleaned up the area nicely. The only problem was that most of my flood lights ended up needing to be replaced, because the removal of the old roof shook them enough to break the filiments inside. Suggest that bulbs be removed before the work begins, and put back in when it is finished. Customer service was excellent. The cost was pretty high, though I hope it will be worth it with a 40 year guarantee.
