Earth Design - Dura Turf

The product itself is great, but I experienced way too many issues with the service and the follow-up. The crew showed up an hour later than scheduled - no big deal. The lack of clean-up diligence was not only unprofessional but it was downright dangerous. Scattered around, I discovered a razor blade, a half-dozen irrigation spikes, several pieces of PVC irrigation pipes, and remnants of the crew's lunch packaging - ANY of which could have been very harmful - or even deadly - to my new puppy. When I alerted Seth to this, he said the office would call me to follow-up. They never did. A week later, I discovered that the crew accidentally cut the wiring to my irrigation and therefore my entire yard was receiving no water for ~10 days, amid a heat wave. I reached out to Seth and he ignored my text. I called the office the following day and Seth said he would handle - that a team member would come out on Sunday. They never did. I texted Seth at Noon and at 6pm on Sunday to check in, and never heard back. The following day, I called the office again. They sent someone out same day and let me know that Chris (the owner) would be reaching out to me. I never heard from him, but the issue was fixed that day. I know am hoping that all of my now-browned landscaping will come back to life. The other thing that's frustrating is that, even though there's fine print on the invoice to address this, Seth never actually brought up the risk that the sun reflecting off of my windows might burn/melt the turf, and that the warranty would not cover it. You would think that they would verbally describe this to you since it's the ONE thing they carve out of their warranty. At least give homeowner's a chance to assess the situation. One might choose to NOT put turf in certain areas, if they were properly informed. Anyway, I am happy with the product, but the rating is a reflection of the abysmal customer service I just dealt with and the potential long-term damage to my landscaping.

Seth he did a great job. Paid attention to detail. Clean up even the neighbors area. Came earlier than the appointment. Very polite.

Earth Design did an excellent job installing synthetic turf in our driveway and sidewalk, as well as designing a decomposed granite path to our guest house. Quality of turf is excellent. Plenty of sample choices and colors. Excellent communication and explanation of work needed. After I hired him, 8-10 guys showed up two days later and finished the project in 1 day, which felt like a total blessing after the nightmare we've gone through with previous contractors and how long they normally take to finish even the smallest projects. Seth beat all the competitors prices and timeline. And when the DG path formed small cracks a day after installation, he sent his crew back right away and fixed it. Highly recommend and would hire again instantly.
