Reviews
Write a ReviewPete is an owner operator who is on time through and probably too fair with his prices. If you are looking for a clean, affordable, professional experience Dun Rite is the place you are looking for. Pete installed a new heat pump system into my attic to cover the attic and second floor and it is working flawlessly. His quote was over 10k less than the big companies and he was onsite himself for the whole job. I cannot recommend Dun Rite highly enough.
Pete was a pleasure to work with. He has a confidence that is backed up with extensive knowledge of A/C and heating systems. We needed a new A/C system, and also boiler repairs and installation of new and improved Honeywell T9 Smart WiFi Thermostats. We had a persistent problem of having a 2 zone heating system yet working on one zone. Pete tackled this difficult problem with confidence and tenacity. I would certainly highly recommend him to anyone looking for an honest, hardworking and dedicated professional such as Pete.
Peter was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Without a doubt one of the best contractors I have ever worked with. Out of the three estimates I got, Peter's estimate, together with his explanations and reasoning on why and what models/equipment/vendor he was recommending were the most logical, cost effective, and made perfect sense to me. He showed up bright and early on the day we scheduled the job with two of his guys and were done in less than 7 hours. Left our utility room in better shape than it was before and fixed some unprofessional work done by prior contractors before we bought the house. Highly recommended to anyone looking for high quality work from a no nonsense professional contractor who takes great pride in his work.
Peter was extremely knowledgeable and professional. For sure one of the best contractors I ever worked with. Out of three estimates I got, Peter estimate, together with his explanations and reasons why and what models/equipment/vendor he was recommending were the most logical, cost effective, and made perfect sense to me. Highly recommended.
I have nothing but good things to say about Dun Rite heating and cooling. My central A/C went out in July, and I was desperate to get it up and running again, so I reached out to all of the major players through Angie's list and others based on the trucks I saw in the driveways of my neighbors. Honestly, they told me that they could get me up and running in a few days, but I felt like they were selling me something that took the house I was living in to account, and they certainly didn't give me an honest, low-impact, economically beneficial plan for cooling my house. Pete, "Dun-RITE", did that. He looked at my existing setup, and calculated the overall burden it took to cool my house and then did the math to make my house cooler with a more efficient setup! WHO DOES THAT?!?! He added a vent to our master bedroom, reduced the flow to our bathrooms, figured out the overall flow and installed a new set of vents overall to maximize our system, all at a lower price than the major players quoted me to replace a condenser and handler. Pete's the best there is. And if you're not convinced, consider the value of investing in locally-owned businesses, of which Dun-Rite is. And as someone who grew up in a family-owned business, I feel like Pete's got it right: Local-owned, honest, and intelligent. He deserves your business.
thank you so much. that means alot
My husband and I recently purchased a home and realized we had issues with our central air during a heat wave. We received estimates from approximately 5 different companies but we went with Dun Rite for a few different reasons - 1) We worked with Pete from Dun Rite and he was such a nice and respectful human being unlike some of the other companies he was pleasant. the customer service is impeccable. 2) he didn't rush with explaining the issues he found with the system. He truly wanted us to understand. 3) he wasn't trying to overcharge us with items we didn't need unlike some of the other companies we received quotes for. we signed the contract with the quote and contacted our AC warranty company. Dun Rite was going to get paid regardless but we wanted to see if the warranty company would help with any of the payment. Pete also helped us fight the warranty company to partially pay for some of the work. He was fighting for it even more than we were! what other company would do that for you?!?!?! Based on those factors we hired Dun Rite for our AC and ducts. The team was prompt and only took a work day and 2 hours to put in a whole new AC unit and ducts and discard of the old unit! When they worked in the house the team wasn't overly loud and they left the house super clean. After the work was done I realized Dun Rite was the same company that worked on my parents house 10 years ago and my parents praised their work then as well. this shows their standards have not dropped and they are consistent. I highly recommend Dun Rite without any reservations.
Pete n his team are Amazing!! He efficiently serviced my air conditioning by problem solving and saving me 1000's of dollars on a new unit. He guided me thoroughly thru the process so I know what to do moving forward. In addition, he has installed new units for 3 other family members who have been just as thrilled to say.."HE IS AWESOME!"
STAY AWAY -Horrible customer service, extremely rude and takes forever to get anything accomplished.
I'm sorry to hear about the situation, I think you might be posting on the wrong company, because my company is based out of New Jersey and I don't work outside of New Jersey im sorry I was not rude. I speak to your partner matt and update him on everything he was already informed that the warranty parts were ordered and I would give him any updates I get. then u called 2 days later and I could not answer. I then called u back an hour later and your reply was I cant talk can I call u back. I never heard back till a few days later when u called and texted wanting updates with I had responded by text that there are no updates still waiting fro
We had Peter from DunRite over to replace the central AC. Peter had the mind set of finding solution and resolving problems. A proposal was explained by him and adjustments were made base on our concern. He accommodated our request and went above and beyond to ensure our system was working properly after the job was done. The name â DunRiteâ perfectly described his excellent work. Operation and future maintenance were explained after the job was done. We would not hesitate to hire him again. It was a pleasure working with him.
