Did not complete the job
The job could not be completed when add ons and changes are not being compensated for. We did as much as we could do for you within your financial needs.
Very nice guys.
I hired this company to make some changes to the electrical in the basement that was requested as a contingency to a sale of a property. It has been made clear by a home inspector that this company lacks the basic knowledge on electrical and cost me an additional $2,000 above the expected repair cost to mitigate the damages he caused to my property due to his lack of knowledge. The inspection report reads: It is our belief that whoever replaced the wiring did not have the required knowledge to perform the electrical upgrades. There are dozens of issues where improper wiring methods were used. Romex is improperly routed and not supported through the entire system. Where drilled through joists and studs, 1.25 inches of clearance must be given, none of the holes drilled provide that clearance. Steel boxes were not grounded. Fittings are of the wrong type and knockout holes were not properly capped. The remaining knob and tube not properly sheathed by loom or other covering. Devices and fixtures are not terminated properly. Junction boxes are to be located below the ceiling joists to prevent covering at a later date. In most cases relocating the Romex will require the replacement of the entire system. After reviewing this report it has been made clear to me that this company should not have been hired. When reaching out to the company about this issue, I was ignored for the entire week and was forced to reduce the sale price of my property due to the damages this company had done to my electrical system. I highly suggest against allowing this company to perform any electrical work of any magnitude for anyone. Please be aware of these issues as these same issues may come up as a result of your project.
As it stood with our last conversation, the violations that were talked about were from your previous contractor. It was advised that you needed more items done and you opted not to do them. Our job was completed and that helped for the sake of the sale. Sorry, you have a misunderstanding of what work we actually performed.
Very friendly and efficient work ethic along with affordable quotes.
They were very responsive and polite. Arrived on time and very reasonably priced. Will definitely use them again and 100% recommend.
I wasn't sure I would need to purchase a new security screen door, or if a repair would do. One Way Home Remodeling And Repairs was able to repair the security screen door, instead of claiming that I would need a new security door, this company was HONEST and repaired! The company arrived on time, was very professional, and completed the job within 15 minutes! I have already recommend One Way Home Remodeling And Repairs!
They came out on short notice to replace our hot water tank. Not only did they replace it, but they also included a water shut off valve that we didn't have before. They worked with us and were very efficient.
They were honest, kept the price the same as quoted & was below the other prices $330!!! I'm grateful I found them on home advisor. Thanks!
