Mr. Tinnell, the owner, left the state in the middle of my kitchen remodel deck builds. Mr. Tinnell portrayed himself as a more experienced carpenter than he is. His personal problems began to seriously affect his work ethic he would leave for days without telling me. He would be incommunicado, refusing to answer my texts calls. He hired a subcontractor who knows less than he does. So, now I have to find another contractor willing to come in finish the jobs. I would give him -5 stars if I could. Since I did not pay him thru I am not afforded their Happiness Guarantee. I will be canceling my membership as I am not paying for a service that does not give members access to all its services.

Consistent communication and set the expectation up front and honestly. I'm using this company again for another job in the near future and have already recommended them to a family friend.

What I liked about the experience with Douglas Construction is that the work was tastefully done and consistently monitored especially when the rainy weather temporarily interrupted the scheduled work. I received phone calls and text messages to assure me that the work would resume as soon as the weather permitted. My driveway is completed, and I am a very satisfied customer with the finished product. Ryland is a professional in his craft, and I will recommend him to friends and family.

Can’t say enough about this company. They responded immediately to me by hone, and quickly set up an appointment to do the estimate for the driveway. They are fair, and do a great job. Very happy with the work. Ryland does a outstanding job, will definitely use them again!

I hired Douglas Construction for a patio in my backyard. Ryland was very professional and a great communicator! The owner is very knowledgeable about his craft. He even helped me out in a few areas that were outside of our original agreement. He went out his way to keep me informed about progress and made me feel very comfortable. He is my go to for all future home improvements.
