Don is wonderful to with with. He does beautiful work and takes pride in the repair/refinish jobs he does for us. Heâ s always on time, efficient, and honest about what is necessary to complete the job. We also love that he tells us what he recommends for the care of the furniture piece after the repair. 10/10 recommend Don for your furniture repair needs.

We are a local, moving company. As careful as we are accidents happen, and furniture gets damaged. The most important thing for us is making sure that repairs are done and done properly. A lot of hard work goes into a move and if a customer is unhappy due to a damaged piece by the time Don is done they are happy to refer and recommend us. Don Bowman does all of our work, and we would use nobody else. The work is exemplary and he is an important part of what we do. If you have repairs needed we highly recommend Bowman Furniture Repair. Iâ ve hired Don over 6 times and weâ ll have him back many more. Heâ s brought valued pieces back to life and saved new pieces from misuse. The more interesting of the projects was stabilizing and securing a 17th century screen working with wood and materials that donâ t exist any longer. He even created a missed chip piece of wood on a delicate highly-chiseled spire out of nothing. You canâ t tell. Literally. Don has novel tools and sensitive hands to work with color, form, and all kinds of materials. His attention to detail is remarkable. I have no qualms entrusting my pieces to this man of exceptional skill. And no, Iâ m not being paid for this review. Don is a singular talent. When he comes over I ask him if he still has his magic bag. He just smiles as he should. The talent is in his hands!
