Write a ReviewThe provider arrived early. I went down to the lobby to let him in. He declined to use the elevator so took the steps and met me in the hall outside my condo. He came in and viewed the sofa, gave me the cost, and returned to his car to get the equipment. When he returned, instead of have a machine to clean the sofa as I expected, he had a bucket with various spray bottles and used a scrub brush. He did not cover my rugs (or take his shoes off) so I questioned if the solutions would damage the rugs because they were wet (I felt them) and he said no. He proceeded to spray various solutions on the sofa and used the scrub brush on a faint spot about 10 in diameter. I asked if he should be using the brush and he said again that it was Ok. Half way through the cleaning, he made me pay via Venmo which I thought was odd. I believe he knew had damaged the fabric at that point and wanted to get payment before I noticed. After he finished, he left and I walked to the past the sofa to open a window to help with the strong odor and noticed the damaged fabric. I texted him saying it was damaged. We texted back and forth several times but he kept saying I had to let the fabric dry. It is dry now and the damage is even more evident. He refused to refund my money. He said he would text me the name and number of the owner of the company but never did.
I contacted the provider through my Angi app. I was scheduled for Saturday March 1,2025. He text me and told me he had to reschedule me for Sunday March 2. He showed up at my house with just a bucket, a spray bottle, and a brush. He used my sink for water and after about 20 minutes of just spray and brushing my couch he charged me $200. He didn't give me an invoice or a receipt. when I came home from work I noticed my couch still wasn't clean and I called him and he didn't answer so I sent him text messages about the situation. He didn't respond. I called again and he answered stating he got my messages and he would call me back to resolve the situation. I ended up calling him again and he said he didn't shampoo or vacuum the couch because he would burn it. That wasn't true because I had to pay to get it cleaned after him and they did all of that to the couch. I told him and sent him pics of me paying another person to do what he said he couldn't. I have all the messages in my phone and on my Angi's App. After our last conversation he hung up on me on Tuesday 3/4/2025. And hasn't answered the phone or responded since.
They arrived on time to do the job. I am happy with their work and warranty. Would hire them again!
