Horrible work ethic?. Unreliable

I hired Dave to replace a large window in my mother's house. He came in September 2023 with a representative from the window manufacturer and measured the windows. Because of his specs, I ordered a $4,400 window. The window finally arrived in December of 2023. I contacted Dave numerous times to try to schedule the install. Finally I was able to schedule it in early February 2024. Dave emailed me on Sunday and said it was going to rain on Monday so he needed to reschedule until Tuesday. I drove 45 minutes to my mom's house that morning and he never showed up. Didn't answer texts, didn't answer his phone or emails. I finally heard from him on Thursday and he told me his company did a "reset" and he will no longer install windows. He said he had someone who would do the job the following Monday. I contacted that person and they said they were on another job. I emailed Dave on Saturday and he reamed me out for contacting him on a Saturday while he was at football and told me he would be available Monday to discuss, and he probably would just cancel the permit. I finally have someone who can do the job. They measured it today and his measurements are WAY off and the $4,400 window won't work. Do NOT do business with this guy.
