Paid thousands and grass was growing right out of asphalt in only a week. Won't even come look at the mess they made. Even sent pictures. May sue them

Meet Diane selling her my truck. Nice lady, no complaints there. Got an estimate that I have to admit was one thousand dollars over two other estimates I had received and that was with a military discount. This was done on November 19th, 2023, it was 30 degrees and I asked her if she wanted to wait till spring to do it and she said no. She said she would really like to do it so she could use the last of her product for the season. It's January 27th, 2024 and 50 percent of the coating has flaked off the driveway creating a mess when you either go into the house or get in your car. The flakes range from 1/8th inch to 2 inches in diameter. I've had to hose the driveway off several times to attempt to wash the flakes and residue off to keep from tracking it in my house and my vehicles. I think I got taken advantage of. I got an end-of-year-old product applied when it was too cold to do so. My two other estimates were 550 and 600, and Diane charged me 1600. It's not her fault, I could have said no for that price but she said her product was oil based commercial grade and would last 8 to 10 years where the local sprayed on product would last 2 to three. Well, a little over two months later I'm looking at have to recoat my driveway when the weather gets warm. Probably do it myself like I've done in the past with the Lowes sealer that I know won't flake off and do it for 300 bucks. Honestly, I don't think I even would let her come out and correct the problem because I don't trust the product she uses.
